All the staff were friendly and very helpful, from the reception to the cleaning staff who went out of their way to assist us. The micro brewery on the side of the hotel was great for an evening drink and snacks. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. I loved the historic feel and nautical theme. Room was very comfortable. Liked the rainshower and amenities. Good to have the coffee machine in room. My only small annoyance was needing to ask for a jug of milk from reception if I wanted to make a cup of tea in my room.

Room was very tiny, noisy from the wind, overall, it's about location, location for this place. Easy walking distance to many things to do and see. Remember to book your car into the parking area.

The Hougoumont Hotel in Fremantle is a fantastic little boutique hotel. The rooms are compact, but present really well with high quality finishings. The staff are welcoming and very friendly which makes for a great experience. The complimentary continental breakfast is a great add-on. The location is convenient to most things in Fremantle. I will definitely be back on my next trip.
