A unique alpine character home in a picturesque lakeside location on prestigious Park Street in central Queenstown.

VIEWS: Enjoy spectacular views of the Remarkables mountain range, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, and crystal-clear Lake Wakatipu.

LOCATION: Situated only a stone’s throw from the lake’s edge. It’s an easy and flat 15-minute stroll along the lakefront to the town centre. The popular Frankton track starts at the bottom of the driveway, perfect for cycling, walking, or running.

STYLE: Loads of character, featuring high timber ceilings and exposed beams this home has a true alpine feel.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS: Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master has a TV, private ensuite with shower bath and walk in wardrobe. The second and third bedrooms both have lake views and balcony access and share a family bathroom with shower. All bedrooms and bathrooms have luxury linen and toiletries. There is also an additional bath in the laundry room.

LIVING AREA: With two separate lounges, two outdoor areas this home is ideal for large families or groups wanting to spread out. Spacious and comfortable, the main lounge features a cosy fireplace to keep you warm and toasty, enjoy board games, books and large TV with SKY, DVD player and surround sound. The second lounge has a sofa bed and additional TV. Both living areas have sliding glass doors providing excellent natural light and indoor-outdoor flow.

KITCHEN & DINING: The large, well-equipped kitchen, including coffee machine has bar seating and opens into the living and dining areas and large balcony. Enjoy dining either indoors or out, both with stunning views.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: The winning feature of this home is the large front deck with picture perfect views – ideal for BBQing, outdoor dining, relaxing with a book or watching the boats go by. There is a private backyard with mature and colourful gardens and complete with a spa pool/hot tub* – the perfect way to unwind after a day on the ski slopes. (*charges apply for spa pool use). On a hot summer's day cool off in Lake Wakatipu, which is very conveniently at the bottom of the driveway.

OTHER PRACTICALITIES: There are full laundry facilities, linens, toiletries, kitchen basics, underfloor heating, heat pump/air conditioning and a covered carport for off street parking.

RATES, INCLUSIONS & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, premium linen and for a maximum of six guests. A seventh guest can be accommodated with prior arrangement and is charged at NZ$50 per night. A departure clean fee of NZ$325 applies. Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods.

*Spa Pool: A one-off charge of NZ$150 applies for use of the spa pool. This is to have it professionally valeted, heated and ready for your arrival.
• Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.

• A standard exit clean is included with your accommodation booking; however you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours being charged. This may include carpet cleaning or excessive rubbish removal for example.

• Wakatipu Lodge is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.

• Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.

• We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation in the event of any damage to the property. The guest will be notified immediately should a charge need to be taken.

We didn't know when we booked this property that it would be the best location in Queenstown. End of the road, quiet... a secluded tucked away magical place to stay. The windows... the windows are the art... we didn't even want to go anywhere for sunset, watching the endless sunset from the house was magic. THANK YOU! We will be back.

Perfect location
We enjoyed this property, especially the nice (15-20 minute) walk into town along the lake. We even were able to enjoy the New Year's Eve fireworks (partial view) from the deck. The location and views could not be more fantastic. The house was very comfortable for our family of 7 adults. We cooked there a few times and found the kitchen well stocked. It is an older house but everything worked well enough. One suggestion ~ the fry pans need to be replaced; everything stuck to them and they are warped. The only other issue we found is that the downstairs, separate bedroom had a bit of a musty smell. The property manager provided more air fresheners and suggested running the AC at all times, which improved the situation. My daughter and her husband, who stayed there, thought the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom worked well. They also opened the window as much as possible to help get fresh air in. No screens anywhere though, so at night we had to be careful of lights.

Amazing !!
Fantastic place to stay - so close to town and with spectacular views . Very well looked after and had everything we needed. It was quiet ,very cosy and extremely comfortable. We would definitely come back and stay here again
