First time staying at King Edward and it was a treat. Clean, comfortable, quiet, excellent staff, comfortable lounge, perfectly located for everything we wanted to do to just park the car for the weekend and walk everywhere - aquarium, St Lawrence Market, Meridian Hall, Distillery District, excellent restaurant options just minutes away.

I stayed here for my anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. On the day of checkout, staff started knocking on the door as early as 10:00 AM, despite the fact that I had scheduled a massage and the spa staff had graciously extended my checkout time until 1:00 PM. Despite this, I was repeatedly pressured to leave by 12:00 PM. This was disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel of this category. It left a negative impression on what should have been a special stay.

Relaxing weekend getaway
Our weekend stay at the Omni King Edward was excellent. It is well located in downtown Toronto - close to the train station, entertainment district, Hockey Hall of Fame and excellent restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our room and the common areas were very clean. Consideration should be given to reopening the Victoria restaurant for dinner.

We were getting married in Toronto and decided to stay at the King Edward hotel along with our families. The staff was extremely nice, helpful, and really made our wedding weekend a great one. Thank you to Shaddhra who helped fix a couple of issues with our room and for being so accommodating our needs for having the rooms near each other.

Our room was a Deluxe King. The room was spacious and had a large desk. It did not have a luggage stand and was generally not well lit. The bathroom was very small with almost no horizontal surfaces to put out toiletries. The shower was very narrow possibly only 3 or 4 feet wide.

The hotel is in a great location and is a beautiful Old property. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. We were a little disappointed with the service for breakfast as it appeared they did not have enough staff working. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant day.
