Very clean and nice hotel. Check in was easy. Alejandro at the front desk was very helpful when I needed to arrange new transportation to the Cancun airport.
I will definitely be staying here again. I enjoyed my full week stay here with no issues other than one gentleman being very angry that there was people hanging out in the community area on the weekend. The rooms had thin walls and my room was next to the stairs so I would hear everyone coming down/up the stairs, checking in, anyone in the community area. I didn’t mind because I didn’t pay for silence on vacation. The food trucks were located right outside the hotel which was the best part of my trip here. Located off the strip but nothing was unreasonable to walk to.
The community area was our happy place with friends and fellow guest that are now life long friends. There was a mutual respect for all in the area and their belongings. Truly enjoyed our time.

Was good for the price. Not sure if it was the room we were in but we did not have a good sleep.
The outstanding features of this hotel were the Mayan-themed murals, statues in every area and corridor of the hotel.
Our room was spacious, the Mexican-style stone and tile floors was a beautiful touch, there was a clothes hanging area, and the bathroom and shower area was large and striking.
The pool and pool area was nice, with a small waterfall directly into the water, which was powerful enough for a free head and shoulder massage.
The staff were friendly and polite. We arrived too early for check in and had a tour booked, so they stored our luggage in their reception area behind their counter until we returned later that evening.
For the price its great. It has everything you need. The bed was clean and comfortable. It has a modern TV with Netflix. The shower was great! hot water and large shower head with amazing pressure. I love rain shower heads. It was also quiet although it was right on a main street because my room, 305 was in the back of the building. The only issue was the Wifi didn't reach my room well. I will say however that I also stayed at the Kimpton for a couple nights and wifi was crap there too so it's not the hotel's fault, its a Tulum thing. I also only got one towel for 2 guests. I didn't ask for a second one but perhaps they would have given me another without issue if I asked. Third, the door lock didn't look safe so I took my passports with me instead of leaving them locked in the room. I also slept with a chair blocking the door due to the lock looking very loose and easily broken with a kick. Regardless I felt safe because there's a staff person at the front at all times. The AC worked great and it was clean enough for me. I had no issues staying here. There's a lot of street food vendors right outside the doors too!! and the breakfast place Vitalis next door was very good and not super expensive. I would stay here again if the price remained around what I paid.
It’s right where u need to be clean, quite, nice staff. It’s simple but great. I stayed to hunt apartments and it was great the woman at the front desk is amazing.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
Good value in a great location
This is a simple, basic but comfortable hotel, well located near the center of town. Don't expect anything luxurious, but it's satisfying for the price, and I've stayed here a couple of times while on dive trips to Tulum. There's always available parking close by on the street, and Vitalis next door is a good spot for breakfast.
This is a budget hotel, it’s clean and the staff is friendly if you know how to catch a local communal bus it will cost you $50 pesos to get to the beach but this is a more authentic area and there are hundreds of street food vendors right outside you door so no need to go anywhere for food.
No hot water, there is no flooring so your literally walking on concrete must wear flip flops at all times. Told front desk theyre is not hot water he said yes i know and laughed , so i laughed and said this place sucks luckily i was only ataying one night room 101. Mosquitoes in the room, umm for the price they could do a better job. Qould not recommend staying here. Oh one good tbing is location but all else is terrible qould be worth sgaying further away.
Such a great bargain hotel. It’s walking distance to the restaurant/bar strip in downtown Tulum. You will not have to pay for cabs to get anywhere in town. Also walking distance to the bus terminal. Extremely clean, and checking in took less than a minute. WiFi was also great in common areas, a little weak in room but great in common area
+ Excellent location in the centre.
+ Staff very friendly and helpful (for advice, shops, printing documents).
+ Good room cleaning service
- my room 205 did not have window in the bathroom, so towels did not dry.
Every day you register your stay have to sign at least 3 documents. Never in 63 years of travel have I seen such a wasted of paper and time.
For the most part the staff tries hard to.pkease but are embarrass working in this hotel.
The front desk people are not well trained and not capable not knowing how to please the client.
The hotel was close enough to the main road that you could do get to all the spots and restaurants easily. But also far enough away that it wasn't noisey from cars and people. The bed was comfy and the housekeeping was fanatic. Very few amenities though. Only thing in the room was the queen size bed. Small night stand and small desk with chair. The bathroom was on, but the shower started to smell odd after a couple days of using it. Great a/c but on occasion the power would go out for a few minutes. Overall, it was a nice hotel for what we paid for.
Enjoyed every bit of my stay! Staff has excellent customer service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. Overall, my husband, baby and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
