Old hotel that had it's best days in 1970. Staff tries to keep it clean and probably doing the best they can but much better options within a block or two for a few dollars more. Roach passing by on floor at bedtime. Air condition just blew room temperature air. Staff came and washed out the filter but that wasn't the issue. So a hot and uncomfortable night in which I couldn't wait for checkout time. Felt like I was in North Korea every time I walked into this place due to decorations, age of hotel and lack of guests. Forget about a pool or gym and didn't even want to try the breakfast.
Room was old, air cond not really work, only feel cold after midnight, TV is very old, not LCD and no program and signal, breakfast fixed with 2 bread, 2 eggs and ham. Only good at near to BTS. Surrounding that area are mainly Indian, Middle Easter.
very bad experience as the hotel is too dark inside & uncleared with some stain smell. hotel.com must cancel/not allow this kind of hotel to publish the hotel in the web. affected the reputation.
This is a very awful old place with hardly anyone with super old stained carpet and cockroach running around and what not... somehow managed one night then left next morning although I had paid for 2 nights.. kindly reimburse me and don’t put this hotel in your hotels.com

Nds improvements. Gd loc or playing Bankok style
Needs new carpet. Smell cigarette's smoke everywhere. Both hot and cold water leaked. The drain leaked the floor was wet.
The only thing I liked were the clean sheets on the bed.
There were no coffee or tea making facilities in the room, no free bottled water, no room safe, and a carpet that was so filthy I wore my socks all the time.
The staff were grim and even refused to get a taxi for me.
The hotel is run down and the breakfast was basic to put it mildly.
Expedia should be ashamed to put people in this hotel
I usually review the hotel whenever I book. I was busy and looking at the hotel photos I assumed that it might be good as it claims three star property! My expectations were wrong and it was a total disappointment. The moment I entered the lobby area it was so dark and scary! Usually I have seen such scenes in horror movies. Reception was so unwelcoming and they took some time to understand that I have a fully paid reservation. Thank God finally they found my reservation otherwise they were demanding money. One or two staff were good and understanding English. Room was ordinary and not even to the two star standards. There were stains on the carpet, bathrooms taps broken & hard to stop the water, broken shower, no free drinking water in the room and you have to pay 40 baht for a small bottle of water. The checkout time was noon and they started calling my room from 11 am onwards. I was in bathroom and trying to take a shower using broken shower hose. They were keep on calling repeatedly and it was like a constant harassment. I had to rush and move out of the room by 11.45 am. The entire hotel was so empty and they did not had a courtesy to call after check out time deadline. The hotel is in a good location and probably was once a good three star hotel but not anymore. Price was way too much for what was on offer and I will never stay there again.

Get what you pay for
Hotel was shows its age and the rooms had the odor of cigarettes. Overall the staff was curtious, although they had a little bit of trouble figuring out the Expedia booking but managed to get it sorted. The location was convienent. Nothing fancy but I would stay there again due to the location.
The hotel has good bones but very tired and in need of renovating. Had one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in and the room was clean. The bathroom was shabby with leaking shower over the bath. Water was going hot/cold all the time. The breakfast was disappointing, cooked ham, mini sausages and eggs with toast. No garnishing. Is in a great location but a lot of vacant land there now. I guess you get what you pay for because it was only for a night and cheap.
very very tied and warn out doesnt look anything like photos, they must have been taken 30 years ago.The carpets were dirty and very warn out the rooms were smelly and had yearsb of smoking in them with no opening windows the tv was unwatchable overall a horrible grotty place and lucky for us we only had the last 2 days there really wished we had rebooked the ambassador served appartments.
It is a very old hotel. Facilities are not good. No selection of breakfast. Honestly no value for money.

Liked: Staff & service
For this hotel, booking through Expedia wasn't the best experience because they failed to supply the actual booking reference and it took the staff a good half hour or so to check us in.
The room itself was a decent enough size and comfortable.. and its location was close enough to the amenities. However there was no safe in the room. The shower was pretty poor and couldn't stay up. So had to hold the shower head.
