For the price I was expecting more of the property. In our room the toilet didn't work properly, we had to wait 30 minutes between flushing, and it ran off and on during the night. The coffee maker in our room didn't work at all. We tried to order from room service but it arrived luke warm. We spoke to guest services about both issues but no one fixed it. The room was cleaned and restocked every 2 nights. Our room was nice, and matched the photos. The bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet, though some others we met complained about the noise of the new resort being built next door, The beach was great and we never had issues finding a daybed at either the pool or beach. The food quality was mixed. There are 2 buffet areas open at different times. The food was edible, but not a reason to choose this resort. The a la carte restaurants were also average. We enjoyed the Japanese and the French bistro, the Italian didn't meet expectations and the Mexican was awful the night we went. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, especially Esther and the others at the lively bar. Beware, there are many weddings at this resort. One day in particular had 4 weddings (2 at the same time a couple hundred yards apart. This sometimes limited our access to some amenities, and caused it to be quite loud in the common areas.

I recently stayed at the Majestic Resort, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, there was no room available, despite me notifying the hotel in advance about this being a special event and completing all the required pre-check-in paperwork. The staff claimed there were mechanical issues with my room, but it became apparent that they had oversold the property. This was a frustrating start to the trip. The food was disappointing and well below average. I had higher hopes given the resort's reputation, but the offerings felt bland and uninspired. To make matters worse, I had booked a private dinner on the beach, only to find out it wasn't private at all—other tables were set up nearby. On top of that, the food never arrived, and we waited for over an hour. Eventually, I saw guests at neighboring tables receiving the same food as the buffet, so I really question why anyone would pay extra for this "exclusive" experience. While the property itself was visually appealing, and I did meet some nice guests during my stay, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The staff's low standards, lack of communication, and failure to deliver on promises made this a disappointing stay. I won’t be returning to the Majestic Resort.

Resort is pristine clean, grounds are beautiful, room was really nice. Food was great with good options, all restaurants seemed to be understaffed, took a while once seated and after orders placed.
