Great breakfast and location- super close to downtown area (about a 7-min car ride). We would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t really know what we were walking into, but we enjoyed the compact pod-style rooms in this hostel. The bathrooms, although shared on the floors, were the cleanest we’ve seen in any hostel. Shared kitchen was well-stocked and there’s even a bin for free food that other travellers have left behind. The luggage storage was a great feature after arriving early in the city off a red-eye flight. Would recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavik for a few nights!

It was a delightful surprise to see nesting kittiwakes on hillside opposite our room window. Dinners and breakfasts were delicious. Staff was very courteous & helpful.

I stayed there for 3 days at 3 different rooms. The first room is a free upgrade, but it's downstairs and uncomfortable. I didn't like it. The second room is one of the best. It's in 4th floor, beautiful and offers the best view. The third room is too small. What I did not like is the heavy price tag I paid for these rooms

This place was absolutely phenomenal. Clean as a whistle. Beautiful rooms and buildings. Nice copious free continental style breakfast buffet. Wonderful staff. It's in the middle of everything downtown and close to everything ... and also a bus stop as a launch point to tours and to the airport (taxis are expensive so use the bus unless you need it now). Views right into the Main Street. Bathroom was big and beautiful. For a $100 up charge they also let me check in at 8am and eat breakfast. Trust me it was worth it for flying in on the red eye. 5 stars all around.
