The public ares are very nice and updated We stayed in room 503. The air conditioning unit is so loud it is hard to relax or hear the television. I would rather of listened to the highway noise then the air conditioner. The flooring is chipped and the carpet appears to be dirty. The beds were comfortable to me, my partner thought they were a bit hard. Did not sit on the sofa I was very leary about its cleanliness.

Everything was fine until it was bedtime. There was a floodlight outside of our window that we thought for sure would shut off eventually, but it did not, and it shown right through our blackout blinds in a stream that landed right on my face. Troubled sleep. Mentioned it to the front desk and they just said sorry. Room 307 Easy fix would be curtains.

We arrived before check-in time from the airport and were told that if we wanted to get into a room before the 3 PM check-in, it would be a $50 charge. We decided not to pay that and instead we opted to leave our luggage here and go explore the area. They charge two dollars per piece of luggage to store your luggage. We asked where we should go to find some shops and restaurants and they told us to head to the area near Riverwalk. They even took our phone and put the address in for Lyft. Problem was they put the wrong address and we ended up in a neighborhood about 25 minutes away from where we really wanted to go. Had to wait another 10 minutes to get another ride and pay for a second ride to the correct location. When we got back two hours after check-in time there was only one room ready on the first floor, which I was not happy about, but since it was only one night decided to take it. I got to the room, opened the door and someone was in the room. Came back out to the lobby where they couldn’t understand what I was talking about because they had the room as vacant. They rushed to get another room ready for me and gaveme complimentary breakfast to make up for the fact that I walked in on someone else in their room and then when I walked into the second room, it smelled of urine. Mold in the bathroom, and when my daughter took a shower, the water pooled in the bathtub and it was all yellow. The staff for the most part has been nice, but this hotel is not worth your money.
