The room was dirty with hair on the floor, food in one of the kitchen draws and a dirty microwave. When I had trouble getting the shower working at 4pm, the after hours staff member on the phone was unpleasant. They mentioned they have to pay someone to come out to take a look because all the staff have left already. After I explained that I needed to leave for the day before 8am the next morning (when reception opened again), they eventually sent someone to help (although it needed convincing). It felt like any questions I asked or issues that needed resolving was an inconvenience to them. The TV stopped working on day 2 of the stay. I didn't bother asking for assistance for that because of the demeaner received with other questions I had. I didn't complain about the dirty room while there, I let them know when I left so that it can be cleaned for the next guests. It didn't seem like they cared.

Well maintained

The building was well maintained and our unit was clean. We had a full beachfront view. I do wish that the outdoor pool was heated so that I could use it.What a waste.The underground pool area was full of children so it was noisy and overused (if you know what I mean). The Hotel was near the Surf Club so we enjoyed meals there.

The apartment size was great, was in a good location opposite the beach and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool and spa (we went in winter) but we weren’t informed that there would be nightly road works directly outside our apt every night from 10pm-6am on the new tram line. This was horrendous & we had little sleep

Location is excellent. Room is older but fine. Underground parking is very convenient. Indoor heated pool and sauna is great. Two days before check-in (after no refund period) we were notified the rooftop was closed due to construction. No big issues. However, after checking in, our room was underneath the suspended platform with ropes laying around. Area was not roped off, and there was no net setup to catch falling tools, etc. And dirty water coming down whilst they were working. Not sure it's even legal to live under an active worksite in QLD? Staff (Kelly) were rude and lied about OC approving of the works, yet they also said they didn't know they were starting work on our side yet. And no compensation for an outdoor area that was completely unusable during our stay. Wouldn't stay here again just due to staff.

Good location in Burleigh Heads – easy walk to beach, cafes, and shops. Friendly and helpful staff – check-in was smooth and they answered all my questions. Photos of the apartment were true to what I found on arrival. Clean and well-maintained space – felt comfortable and safe throughout my stay. Wi-Fi worked well.

It was OK, I think Reception opening at 9 am is a little too late at times. My shower door was off the hinges but it did get fixed. Building and surrounds are quite tired, but the location is great.

A last-minute booking into this property turned out to be perfect. Two bedroom apartment with balcony facing the esplanade and beach. Woke to the sounds of ocean waves. Lovely clean building and unit. Pool available and underground parking. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a lovely dinner after shopping the farmers market. Central location.

Overall, the area is beautiful and I had a great time. I am not sure if I misinterpreted what I was reserving but I was shocked by the lack of service here. Zero housekeeping during my stay. I was told I would have to wash my own towels. My trash was full with no idea where to empty it. I ran out of toilet paper and had to go down to reception to ask for more and was met with a look as if I was being an inconvenience. I don’t need my bed to be made every day but when I am on vacation, I’d rather not have to wash my own towels or struggle to get toilet paper. Overall, the majority of the staff was kind and the area is beautiful.

It was a bit disappointing to find a coffee cup not cleaned full of coffee residue that was found in the cupboard. Almonds on the floor in second bedroom. Would be more comfortable with a queen bed. Double bed for main is disappointing.

Some of the cups and mugs were stained. Pots and pans were stored under the sonk instead of in a clean cupboard. Lack of utensils and plates Overall it was clezn but just the few things mentioned above.
