Great position, just across the road from Southern Cross station, and a short walk to the free trams around the CBD. Andy's self-checkin instructions were excellent, very easy to follow. He emailed to make sure I got in alright too. Also kept me informed on repairs that had to be attended from a previous guest. The apartment was very well equipped, with all I needed for the few days I was there. Being on the 45th level, the view was fantastic! I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to be in the CBD, as it is just so convenient to everything.
Nice location and apartment, not quite as expected
Apartment was nice and felt very more homely. It did not have a hotel feel but more of an air b and b style property (I felt like I was renting somebody's apartment). Towels, bed sheets were different colour other than white and there were random assortment of half-used products to use in bathroom. This didn't meet expectations as expected to be renting a serviced apartment, but instead got self check in instructions (the owner did offer to meet me there, however). Buzzer in apartment was not working- so if friend visits or order food then must go downstairs to let them in, which was a slow process with only one lift working at the time and heavy traffic in apartment building. Expected also to take rubbish out and clean dishes etc at end of stay- again more like an air b and b than a serviced apartment.
Owner gave his personal number to contact and was available when necessary. He seemed personable and very accommodating which was nice (my friend left a jacket in the apartment and needed to contact him.. however the concierge was NOT understanding- they wouldn't allow her back inside even the apartment block even though she was freezing and close to missing a flight. My friend did not have the owner's contact number as I had booked the apartment but as soon as she got it from me he did come to let her in immediately).
I do not think this was a bad stay but it definitely was not advertised correctly- I would expect to rent a property like this on air b and b.
