I loved my room, bed, shower, the fact that you have television that I can access (unlike the Ovolo up the street). I loved the happy hour for guests. I love the location on a more quiet street. I am bound to return. The only thing I don't care for are the front steps. They assaulted me in the past and I resent them. Not a dealbreaker, though :D

Theatre trip to Melbourne- great location for friend catch up - lots of great eating places around . Staff all very helpful especially trying to find the associated car park - the nightly drink hour in lobby a great idea

As soon as we entered the lobby and rolled up to the front desk, we were warmly welcomed by Kristina. Despite being slightly early for check-in, Kristina cheerfully informed us that our room was ready. We were most grateful to be able to freshen up after a long overnight flight to Melbourne. Check-in and registration process was effortless, as with check-out. The decor in the lobby and lifts was refreshingly pleasant, thematically appropriate with the theatre area of CBD. Room was spacious, clean with a modern yet cosy feel. Bathroom/dressing and sleeping areas were separated by a TV wall, which gave a comfortable sense of privacy in each of both areas. Clean bedding and linens gave us 3 restful nights at this hotel. In the cosy lobby, the hosted hour 5-6pm gave opportunity to sample award winning wines from Lancemore's Lindenderry wine estate, and a happy way to ease into dinner plans! Location of Lancemore Crossley St is convenient. Abundant variety of dining and shopping options within short walking distances. Nearest free tram stop is 3 mins walk away, giving easy and fast access to Southern Cross Station as the hub for regional travel and Skybus to airport, and convenient connectivity on other tram routes beyond free tram zone in Melbourne CBD. We will be happy to stay here again when we next visit Melbourne.

Room was noisy, right on the laneway.. windows would not seal completely. Shower screen was not large enough to stop water getting sent into the bathroom. Beds were good, shower hot and friendly service

Parking too far away, air conditioning needed maintenance as it was very loud on our first night, given wrong info about our breakfast on the first day a reception staff member telling us it wasn’t included when we had already paid. Asked again that night and we were told that the staff member had made a mistake. Staff need more training or need to be more diligent.

This was a wonderful choice for us in Melbourne! Easy walking to numerous dining options, tourist activities and shopping. As well, access to the free city Tram that operates just a few blocks away. Really enjoyed the modern, eclectic design of the hotel. Evening happy hour with other guests was a nice treat. Staff was always ready to assist especially Antonia & Mohammed.
