Stayed in this hotel for the night, it was a funky little spot, the view from the king balcony room was absolutely incredible and the highlight! The jazziness of the hotel was a bit of fun with pictures and instruments, the only part that I would like to suggest could use some attention is the signage, it was difficult to navigate with the parking, I didn’t know what level I was on when driving up to find the parking area for the hotel and also finding which way to go when walking back to the carpark, there was no signs on which way to go to get back from inside the hotel, otherwise everything was wonderful and clean, the bed was very comfortable and loved that the tv had recordings of shows from the bar downstairs available to watch. Well thought out and comfortable stay.

It was a very average stay, but location was good. Cleaning needed some attention. We were charged extra to check in a little earlier, we have never been charged for earlier check in, and we travel a lot. After charging us extra we were checked into the wrong room (much smaller, with no balcony) and had to move the next day.

Upon arrival no information was given in regards to parking or breakfast or how to get up to the rooms. The process was inconvenient to get to the room, up 2 different sets of elevators and if you go down to the ground on a different evelator you end up in a different hotel. The toilet buttons were broken and unable to flush it unless you poke something into it, toilet roll was also broken. 1 fork in the draw, bent knife, broken iron that sprayed water all over my dress and an open half drunk milk in the fridge. Staff were unenthusiastic and not very helpful.

Very accommodating staff that let us check in at late hours as well as a very clean and well stocked appartment including pods of coffee and lots of tea. The dish washer was also a great thing to have!

Full price accommodation while renovating?
Not a great start when we found our room on a floor that was being painted... our hallway was dusty and the whole place stunk of paint. The beds weren't what we requested so we were eventually moved to another room 2 floors up... still strong paint smell but not as bad. Room was small for 4 people...tiny bedrooms...1 bed quite hard but others okay. Main shower good, ensuite was weak. Not great considering the cost of the room for 4 days. I wouldn't recommend even though the view was fantastic.

Great: location, quietness, view from balcony, staffer: Jada. She is a gem - smart, kind, proactive. I’ve stayed in many places & few individuals provide the caliber of care Jada does. Not-so-great: lobby under construction, which should have mentioned up front, odd smell in lobby & hallways. I was able to clear the odor from my room, though.

My Wife and I had a great stay! Amazing service & comfortable room with plenty of amenities. The ground floor cocktail bar serves high quality cocktails & food. We were impressed with the freshness of the calamari & loved our cocktails & bar service. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Melbourne. Thanks for a great time!
