We had to deal with one issue that was disturbing enough to ruin the entire stay. My wife had a brand new toothbrush. After the first night, she was going to use her toothbrush and found it was completely stripped, and with all the fibers messed up, as if used for months. Clearly, the housekeeper used the toothbrush to clean the sink, or the counter, God forbid, the toilet.
We brought the complaint to the Supervisor at the front desk, Carolina Butts, but she didn’t do anything about it, and said that we would have to file a complaint with Security. We gave her our number, so Security could call us back to file the complaint, and they did, to tell us they asked the housekeeper and she said she didn’t do it. So enjoy the rest of the day. We stayed at room 641. If you still choose this hotel, at least stay at a different floor.
This is not just a resentful act by an employee but a serious health threat to the community. We can’t stop thinking the kind of transmissible deseases we are now exposed to. I sure a hotel where this doesn’t happen or at least handles it better, will be a better choice for your family’s stay.
