Would not stay here again. Realistically, this place was more like 25 minutes from Ottawa and a headache to get to. Spa is expensive for what it is, there are better and cheaper options closer.

As parents of 2 young children, we decided to have a nice getaway at this Hotel which houses a beautiful SPA for 48 hours of total relaxation and recharge! Our experience was going very well until our very first morning (of a 2 night stay) where we were abruptly woken up at 7AM by excessive construction noise - metal grinding and hammering!!! As other parents may relate, we do not get to sleep in… Ever!!! So we said this year we’ll suffer 363 days and take 2 days to relax at this SPA / Hotel. After reaching out to Expedia who we booked with, they attempted to obtain a refund or compensation for our troubles and were not able to obtain any compassion (not even a simple apology) from the Hotel. We will never be back there and would strongly recommend against visiting this property as the customer service is extremely poor. Any kind of apology or some kind of accountability would be the decent thing to expect from a Hotel like this.

Comfortable but not luxurious
It's a nice hotel, that appearance to be high end when you are in the lobby, but the rooms need freshening up. I love the layout with all the space for 2 queens , separated with doors so friends can stay but have their own space. However, things like proper coffee mugs in the room instead of disposable would be nice and robes in the room.

The room looked clean when you walked in, but there was a lot of dust in the not so visable spots On the toilet, coffee maker, TV etc The air vent in the bathroom above the toilet was gross :( Could use better cleaning Beds were great !

We were grateful that the front desk tried to accommodate us by switching us to another room to be with family on the same floor. Unfortunately, the bathroom tile had some black grout which was a turnoff but overall we liked our room and the service was great.
