This property was a great location when visiting Ottawa for a quick getaway. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar had a friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly. Parking nearby.

Didn't feel super welcomed at check-in, but interactions with all staff afterwards made up for it. Great location. Parking is TIGHT! The 6-ft height limit is very real. Oh, and the King-sized bed was amazingly comfortable.

I have stayed at this property in the past and I am a Bonvoy elite member. I found the reception burgers not welcoming and this is not the first time that this is happened to me. I’m a frequent traveler to Ottawa and Marriott is one of the last places I stay at because of both the lack of warmth of the reception folks as well as the rooms that are extremely outdated and look like they are straight out of the 70s. I would definitely recommend considering neighboring hotels if you have the choice and the budget.

Worth to visit
Located in the heart of the city. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere. Hotel staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is highly recommended. I enjoyed staying here.
