Excellent service...la chambre sentait TRÈS mauvais, salle de bain malpropre...j'ai demandé de changer de chambre... Avec un sourire le changement fût fait...la 2e chambre était un peu mieux, l'odeur moins forte mais toujours présente. J'ai acheté un sent bon pour aider...Salle de bain, bofff :( :( Confort des lits minimum. Les chambres ont besoin de bcp d'amour. Bon déjeuner style buffet, beaucoup de choix!!!

The location is great but you get what you paid for in terms on cleaninliness, the rooms smells, the washroom was not cleaned at all, hair from previous person on the shower and the toilet was definately not cleaned. We even found a used towel and some plastic bags on one of the closets. and the towels must be at least 10 years old, thin and old looking.

This is a great economical option. It's within walking distance to the CN tower and museums. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean (no hair or questionable stains at all) and the AC worked well. The complimentary breakfast was decent - I'm a vegetarian with an egg allergy so I appreciate that there was a tofu scramble one of the days and the hash browns were very good. The parking garage is connected to the building with elevators to reception and it was easy to find, well-lit, and felt safe. Walking back at night, the exterior is very well lit and there was always someone at the front desk. The elevator to the rooms only works with your keycard, which is nice. Potential cons: the beds were very firm - we didn't mind, but that's a consideration. There wasn't a working vent fan in the bathroom so it steamed up quickly, though the water pressure was awesome. Leaving both doors to the bathroom open for a while cleared it up. There were only outlets on the non-bed side of the room but we read the reviews in advance and brought a power strip for my CPAP machine and had no problems. Keep in mind this is a dorm during the school year - if you want Ritz amenities, go pay Ritz prices. If you want a clean, affordable place to sleep that feels secure and is walking distance from everything, this is the place. We booked a hotel seven months ago and switched to this one two days before our event, and the room and parking was still cheaper even last minute. 8/10 Will book again.

Service is great, the place felt clean, and is a good option for a basic downtown accommodation. My only annoyance is that I read several times here and on the UofT website that there would be no hairdryer, so I bought a travel hairdryer specifically for this trip but there was indeed a hotel-style wall-mounted hairdryer in the room.
