I've always wanted a staycation at the Broadview Hotel and it didn't disappoint! We stayed in a room with a record player and had access to a large collection of vinyl, though I also brought my own from home to play. The bed was comfy, the room was large, and the layout was nice. Bathroom was large and clean, though I wouldn't have minded a little more space for the toiletries. We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the street and it was relatively quiet. We ate at the rooftop restaurant -- food was very good, service was excellent, ambiance and a view you can't beat, and at extremely reasonable prices! Breakfast wasn't quite as good -- food was cold even though it was brought immediately. Not a problem as there are many restaurants in the neighbourhood if you want to explore a bit. Steps to transit, shopping, and food -- great place to stay when in Toronto!
