The Broadview is a pleasant alternative to standard, hotel fare: the rooms have a bit of individualization in decor, there are record players, a vinyl library, and a great, rooftop patio. Parking is convenient, with Green P right across the street and some hotel parking behind the building. The concierge was helpful and the texts prior to checkin were also handy.
Unfortunately it was very difficult to get ahold of room service and I had to trek upstairs to grab my own cocktail, only to find out that I couldn’t carry it back to my room. The staff at the rooftop bar escorted me downstairs, with my drink on a tray-room service-style-which was helpful, but awkward. This was the only issue:) no biggie, but something for the service team to note. Make sure to inform patrons of the most efficient way to get room service, if nobody is answering the phone.
