Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay at the Broadview hotel. It was conveniently located to the event we attended that evening. We found several dining options nearby. The rooftop bar looked very nice however it closed at 10:45 so we were not able to take advantage of the excellent views.
Since the last time we stayed, the in-room entertainment, i.e., TV, has changed from good to bad. Although we don't go to watch TV in the room, when we do, we would like a selection of major network channels, such as CTV, CBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS. These are not available, and the option to mirror from our devices to TV did not work with Apple devices.
Broadview Hotel and staff were wonderful! The hotel and rooms were amazing. I was in town for a concert at Hugh’s Room about three blocks away. I felt safe walking home after the concert. Loved the restaurants available, the walkable neighborhood and the public transportation available.

A great stay in Toronto
An absolutely beautiful experience. The staff ensured that we were happy with the room.
This is a great property in a vibrant neighborhood, located steps away from public transportation, moving in all directions of Toronto.
Very walkable to local neighborhoods, as well as the main tourist attractions of Toronto.
Although off the beaten path from the city center itself, the neighborhood this property sits in, is quite trendy, artsy, and family oriented.
If you like vintage clothes, shopping, this is the place.
This property is so popular that locals often have their weddings and receptions on the roof terrace, which is nice to encounter.
For guests, the roof terrace is a nice way to end the day with food or drink and a lovely view.
One of the three reataurants seemed to be permanently closed. The downstairs bistro had very overpriced, mediocre breakfast options and terrible service.
The upstairs restaurant had a lot of snacks, but no substantial dinner options.
The room (3rd floor) was claustrophobic with a very small window up by the ceiling - it felt like you were in a basement.
Unfortunately, its the only hotel option in that part of the city.
Car broken into, loud neighbors, uncomfortable room. Would not recommend.
No parking available at the hotel, so I had to park in a nearby public lot which was $56 dollars per day. I was woken up at 5am on our checkout day by a phone call from the police letting me know that my car has been broken into. The window was smashed, along with a few other cars in the same lot.
The previous night, I was woken up at 3am by someone in a neighboring room blasting music.
Booked a king size room, got a single queen size bed. Room was tiny.
Staff was very friendly, and the rooftop bar was nice. I booked this hotel thinking it would be a more laid back and quiet option compared to something in the heart of downtown, but obviously that was not the case.
