Great hotel in New Town for price

Nice quaint hotel in New Town. Within a couple of blocks of the Haymarket Station which was great for a day trip to Pitlochry. There is no elevator and some rooms are on the 3rd floor if that is important to you. The staff helped us carry our bags up

Greeted by a very pleasant young lady and checked in quickly and efficiently She also helped me with my suitcase up steps to my room We were only one night but would definitely stay here again

This was a good location for our stay in Edinburgh. A bit of a long walk to the Royal Mile but close by Haymarket Train Station and a handy tram stop to get you to the center of town. The room was large but the bathroom tiny, especially for three of us. But it was fine and although the hotel offers continental and menu breakfast it’s also near a few cafes and coffee stops.
