Staff was extremely helpful and helped us book day tours for our 4 hotel guests. Room was very small and dated. Ceiling paint was peeling and shower had mold in it, could use a douse of bleach.

There are 2 Hotel Indigos a city block or two apart. Very easy to get the wrong directions from google. Once we found it it was quite pleasant though!

There are two IHG hotels in Edinburgh—don’t mistake the two. This one: Pro: good link to airport tram, convenient for local restaurants and shopping facilities Con: somewhat on quirky side (lift known as stage door—why???), rooms on small side size wise Perfectly reasonable place to stay

The location was great, the staff were amazing and helpful. However the hotel is located in an awkward street where taxis or cars wasn’t able to park at the door, but I got help from the staff when I checked out which was nice of them. The bedroom was spacious but a bit outdated, the pillows were awful to be fair but I didn’t ask them to change it so maybe they can do that. Overall I think it’s a budget friendly hotel with a central location

One of 2 Hotel Indigos in Edinburgh. Room is set up differently than the conventional way and this works. Bar and breakfast available on first floor. Neighbor has many conveniences including a food hall in St James Place. Tram and buses out front. Walkable to new and old town location. Staff lovely. I would return.
