Ideal location
We were at a gig in St Luke’s near the Barras so the Holiday Inn Express was a good location for that. Within 20 mins walking distance. Breakfast was perfect for us with an adequate selection and a warm buffet.

Within walking distance of Central and Queen Street stations. Surrounding area not very attractive, but safe. Clean. No cheese or cold meat for breskfast. No rolls. Only ordinary bread. Some noise from outside on Friday and Saturday. It seemed to stop at 23:00. Good value for money. I’d stay there again.

Wedding celebration break
We arrived at night and the service was good as the receptionist was very clear with the advice. Unfortunately our expectations were not met which was acceptable but it simply meant we had to move hotels.
