Check in and reception staff 5* Bar staff 5* Hotel lovely, would stay again and recommend .The downside..i was looking forward to a Xmas Cocktail, they had run out of the 2 that i wanted, it was only 1st Dec, still none on the 2nd day.No porridge at breakfast on first day, no oats delivered and on the 2nd day it was so thick you could have used it to build a wall, nit what you would expect in Scotland. Ran out of OJ and Coffee in machine was dreadful Didnt spoil our stay, just a tad disappointing

I highly recommend the Voco Grand Central for your next stay in Glascow! From the check in experience to customer relations, this hotel is top notch. The rooms are well appointed and spacious and the details and touches shows the level of care in all areas. My special thanks to Rachel in reception and Craig at front of house in the Champagne restaurant. You are both amazing and my stay a special event. I am looking for another time in my schedule to come back yo Glascow in order to stay here again!

Room adequate, clean today. WiFi not working in room. Kettle not working either. Breakfast appalling. Numerous hot plates and different empty despite different trips up. Food cold. Tables crammed in making venue uncomfortable. 20 minute standing in line wait for “hot” food from buffet then further 10-15 at toaster. One unisex toilet where there was line for too. No butter at breakfast. It’s a city centre hotel, go buy some. Just not acceptable given the nightly rate. Have stayed here on numerous occasions but this will definitely be the last.

Old favourite off ours been there many a time. Only one complaint was the female bar manager in the champagne cocktail bar was extremely grumpy and not very attentive in anyway what so ever. But that won’t stop us from coming back.

Absolutely wonderful stay, Dylan checked us in and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a cracking view over the station concourse as promised. Almost not noise could be heard from outside. We enjoyed the Champagne Bar and had a couple of cocktails made by James, these were superb. The food at breakfast was excellent, the only gripe we could have was having to pay extra for Eggs Benedict and the service was a little chaotic in the busy breakfast hall. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves overall.

The properties a little worn out, but the staff is amazing. Be warned that there is no valley parking and you have to use the car park a few blocks away. It is attached to a train station so some of the rooms have a view of the train station, however it was surprisingly quiet at night. If you want to shop and look for souvenirs this is definitely the spot, you’re close to everything you need. The staff is the shining star of this property, so friendly and so sweet.

Superb hotel
Excellent hotel. Well looked after, aesthetically beautiful and lovely staff. The rooms are a great size with a very comfortable bed. Location is ideal for central Glasgow and the train station. Always a pleasure to stay there.

MARVELOUS place!
I loved this magnificent pile of bricks in central Glasgow. A classic old hotel -- a little spooky here and there (as one would wish), marvelous long halls, friendly service and absolutely in the center of Glasgow, a city that won me over completely.

This is the fourth time O have stayed at this hotel. I love it. Staff are really friendly, the hotel looks amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. Everything you need is in hand as well-the Champagne Central bar is a great place to have a lovely breakfast in fabulous surroundings!

Grand Central Hotel is infamous….it’s next to the train station. The hotel was ideal for our stay. It’s a shame that there are beggars as you go into the train station, this can be off putting, but there are not many, if any main train stations in the world which don’t have this kind of problem.
