The staff is very friendly. The carpet in the room is very dirty. There isn’t A/C in the room. The bathroom has a corner shower, which is very small. The showerhead is low pressure and it doesn't release Enough amount of water. There is a aroma of curry everywhere.
The listing should report that the lift is not in use. This would be helpful for clients who are disabled and cannot climb stairs.

Room wasn’t very clean. Beard/body hair all over the window ledge on arrival and the bathroom smelled musty the whole time. A lot of noise from the rear of the building - kitchen/plant etc, too noisy to have a window open. Whole hotel smells strongly of Indian food due to the attached restaurant downstairs which is open plan so odours travel up the stairway/hallways. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend. Great location to explore the town centre though.
The hotel is historic and beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. The woman who checked us in was nice. The only drawback (for us) was the fact that the first floor is a restaurant and going in and out causes you to walk through sometimes overwhelming spicy food smells. The room did not smell like food, so it wasn't much of a problem for us, but it could be for others. The location is fantastic and we had a nice 3 night stay, but really only were in the room to sleep and shower.

Great location in Inverness. A lovely historic building - be aware, no lift/elevator. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The main floor and halls smelled very strongly of curry due to the Asian restaurant on the mail floor, but fortunately the smell didn't penetrate the rooms. The staff were very nice - a young man stood outside to save us a parking spot nearby -he was a star to a weary group of travelers.
Excellent find in Inverness - the staff are friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and the food was fabulous.
Way better than the corporate options nearby - this is a brilliant place to stay in the centre of Inverness.

The location was excellent. The room was good. However, because of its Indian Asian restaurant, there was a strong smell of curry in our room when we arrived.
Good location Shower was ok but usual standard for electric shower. No breakfast menu in room to help decide if you want breakfast in hotel.
Comfortable bed altho pilllows a bit firm for me.
Nice place, very close to the Ardross cathedral which is the drop off place for many tour busses. We were on a 3 day Isle of Skye tour with the Hairy Coo and only had to walk around the corner with our luggage. Short walk to the Tesco and city center.
There was a fan in the room, nice bedding and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The only think I didn’t like was the smell from the restaurant was very strong of Indian and Chinese. We never had a chance to eat there we check in late and out early both days.
Great view of the river! I chose “pay at hotel” but the hotel changed their minds on that option and asked for payment ahead of time. I had to spend some time contacting Hotels.com to make sure it wasn’t a scam. The room was good, very central and the staff friendly. There were a lot of stairs.
