I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. From the start, the front desk service was poor, with unhelpful and unfriendly staff. The entire hotel had an unpleasant odor.
Upon entering my room, I was met with a humid atmosphere and a strong smell of mold. The bathroom was unclean, with visible stains on the toilet and hair on the floor. Additionally, the window had a large crack, which created a dangerous gap when pressed. One of the pillows also smelled damp.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff doesn’t have proper customer service. We call for new mug to have our coffee but they didn’t deliver it in our room.

The property in really convenient to get to from the airport and to walk to most areas in the city. The room just seemed unkept, even though it was cleaned. It had a musky smell, due to the fact there was no ventalitation from the bathroom. On the upside, the pillows were amazing and wasn't a bad size.
I have checked in at 10.40 pm and i was given room 9405. Upon checking in and settling down into the room given, i noticed there was a cockroach on the bed, I haven't even unloaded my things as of yet.

there was an off smell in the whole hotel

Facilities and service are up to expectations for the price paid. One thing I dislike is that a receipt wasn't issued promptly upon my payment for another night's stay.
Other minor details the hotel could look into: (1) no TV guide was available for the TV in the room, or even a list of the channels;
(2) only one hook inside bathroom for hanging clothes & towel;
(3) water from basin must be controlled carefully or else it splashes powerfully;
(4) having Hailam Kopitiam downstairs discourages me from exploring other eating places in KL. Ok this is just a joke! It's a compliment on the wide variety available at all hours.
I've stayed at this hotel at least thrice now. Weather-permitting, the hotel is excellently located for exploring the Old Market, Berjaya Times Square, etc.
First I must tell you it is stated all tax inclusive and when I arrived I had to pay extra $30 tourist tax which was no where mentioned. The check in timing was stated on hotels. Com at 2pm but they say its 330pm and anything earlier will pay extra and so I paid extra $50 more. Before check in I say I will only stay 2 nights and ask if can refund the 3rd night or inform hotels. Com and they said no. I felt cheated by all these extra charges. Service by the staff is terrible too.
