I had a fantastic short stay at this hotel. The reception staff were very courteous, helpful and friendly. GM Georgette truly values customer service, and personally greets and serves guests at breakfast! The Standard Queen room was clean and very comfortable, with a choice of soft and firm pillows, small fridge, a single sofa seat and small breakfast table - enough for a single person. Great to have an ironing board & iron, hairdryer and pretty good quality shampoo, conditioner, etc. No minibar but there was always a plentiful supply of water bottles. The TV has a good variety of stations, and the AC was good! It can be adjusted too. Bit disappointed I didnt have a good view, but for me that wasn't the most important thing. It was nice to come back to a freshly made bed and tidied bathroom after a long, hot day out. The pool was small, but clean and nice, and refreshing, and there is a gym with dumbells as well as cardio equipment. The hotel launched it's new dinner menu and the food is really nice. I was very grateful for a few vegetarian options, like truffle fries and a tasy margerita pizza. My friends also enjoyed their meals. The bar is for beer and wine, with a few spirit options. It's a relaxed and cheerful spot for a drink and the staff, especially Jeff, always want to please. It's about 30 mins from the city centre, and has a bus stop almost out the front. Taxis are quick to order at reception and there's a little conveniece store and local restaurants nearby.
