Great hotel. It is styled in Peranakan style. The room was spacious and very cosy. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide free carpark for the hotel guests.

Close to the Marine Parade MRT stop and a direct ride to Marina Bay and Orchard. every time itself is a pleasant small neighborhood with small boutiques and some decent restaurants. The photos of the hotel room, as of this writing, is exactly what you get. No special angles or other gimmicks. Yes, the shower stall opens onto your windows which is odd (you must pull down the blinds). A large in-room safe. Refrigerator is small and barely chills. Air-conditioning is adequate, but barely so during the day. Cleaning also adequate, but not stellar. If you avoid the negativity of the staff, it's actually not a bad place to stay taking into consideration its location (both a con and plus). It was slightly annoying to have to walk directly past the front desk each and each time I entered and left and I had nothing to hide. I'm not one of those people who needs a "welcome back" to feel validated.

Love the Peranakan aesthetic of the room. The location is close to Joo Chiat Rd and a five minute walk from the nearest MRT station. The staff are very friendly and super helpful.

A gem of a hotel!
We loved our stay, not only is the decor great, its amenities are awesome including the rooftop pool. Its right next to MRT station so its easy to get around and see the sights using the metro.The staff were absolutely wonderful and so helpfull. Next time we are in Singapore we will be staying there for sure.

we really enjoyed our stay at Indigo Katong. it was our first time staying in the Katong area, which has changed a lot in last years and offers many nice restaurants, coffee places, yoga studios as well as easy access to the MRT and the East Coast Park. the staff was outstanding facilitating both early check in as well as late check out for us.

From beginning to end staff from front desk to cleaning to restaurant to pool staff were unfailingly courteous, ready to help with any request or address any questions we had. Provided help in getting an emergency credential visit. Changed our room due to difficulty with climate control and provided complementary meal for the issue. Hotel eclectic, and unique in furniture, layout etc. restaurant buffet breakfast tasty and good variety, dinner also good choices, ample and tasty. Each person here was courteous, pleasant ,attentive to every need and also charming. Special thanks to Magesha and front desk night and day staff. We really hope to be back in Singapore and this will be our hotel! G And J room 705 from December 3 to 6 included 2024.

This was a charming boutique hotel in a really cool neighborhood with lots of restaurants and small unique shops nearby. I was upgraded to a room with a bathtub that was adorable and was nice to soak in after running around Singapore all day. The beds were pretty comfortable and the water worked well; the staff was very friendly. My only complaint was that I could hear everything my neighbor was doing while awake. I didn't book the breakfast, so I can't speak to that. In terms of location, the neighborhood is a 10 minute drive to all the tourist areas downtown and about $10 taxi/grab, so it was nice to be away from the craziness and within a reasonable distance to many attractions.

Spend the extra $50 and stay somewhere more convenient. This hotel is on the outskirts of town. Need to ride subway to get anywhere important. Room design is very weird. Toilet stall when you walk in, then the beds and then a shower in front of a plate glass window. Unless you draw the blinds, the whole world can enjoy watching you shower. A/C is locked and you cannot go below 72 degrees. Overall, very mediocre hotel.

This hotel is beautifully designed. Our room is beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed, including a filtered water supply line. Bed quality, linen, towels of high quality. Our shower room offers a good view of the Kating neighborhood from the 9th floor. All the staff are well trained, friendly, and curtious. We really had a wonderful stay for 3 nights.

Had a great stay at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong over the 7 nights we were there. Good location even though it is a bit away from the main spots to visit, but with the mrt line finished over by the hotel and bus routes it was easy to get into the city. Lots of good restaurants around as well as hawker centres if you are looking for cheaper prices. Breakfast is worth it and has a really good spread with lots of choices as well. Rooms are quiet and give a decent view of the area and the pool is spacious but a bit too shallow. I want to give a shout out to the staff there, who were great including Marivel, Nathan, Mei Wen and Jackson, as well as all the other staff that were helpful during our stay. Overall, a great hotel and I would stay there again if I visit Singapore in the future.

I have been to several Hotel Indigo in South East Asia. My favorite by far is Hotel Indigo on the Bund in Shanghai. The shining light in the Hotel Indigo in Singapore is the staff. The team at the breakfast is outstanding! The only caveat is the design and details of the rooms. The washing table teetering on old sewing machine tables is a rather unfortunate design choice. There is not enough room for cosmetic amenities of a couple. Everything is wet, and stays wet because of the odd deign of the wash basin in the form of a bowl. Half of the daylight is cut off by the shower. (The wall between the shower and the bedroom could be frosted glass, to at least have the daylight, if notthe view - if you want the view too use electrochromic glazing). Again: Amazing team......poor design choices.

This hotel was one of my absolute favorite in Singapore, and that says a lot because I visit often! The location is full of character with colorful heritage shophouses that now have modern cafes and unique shops, and some of the best authentic food options combined with malls and grocery essentials. The hotel really reflects the character of the neighborhood with its creative decor, local artisan display, and friendly staff. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping was welcoming, helpful, and committed to providing an excellent experience for guests. The hotel was impeccably clean, and amenities such as the delicious breakfast at Baba Chews and rooftop seating area are unmatched! Such a special stay I recommend this place wholeheartedly!
