Disgusting moldy Doors
Quiet and peaceful sleeping environment. But the only thing I don’t like is the disgusting moldy toilet doors. Dont use wooden door for toilet? Doesn’t seems like it has been washed thoroughly.

1) Clean 2) Friendly and helpful staff. Explained on tourist spot 3) Basic amenities provided. Simple breakfast (bread). No shower foam/soap provided 4) Good location. Near to MRT Lavender and MRT Bendemeer (walking distance 5 to 10minutes) and near to bus stop 5) Can put your luggage at the counter (arrival before check in time)

This hostel was close to public transportation and was easy to get today and there were plenty of places to get food to eat. There was breakfast provided however we didn't get a chance to eat since we had an early flight to catch the next day Breakfast was served at 7 a.m. There is no lift to our room and it was hard to carry our luggage 2 flights up to our room. The bathroom and the shower was outside our room. We had a double bed to sleep in with other guests ( mixed females and males). We just had a curtain to provide privacy. No food could be eaten in the room. You have to eat in the common area and it was noisy to sleep since the room was close to each other and the room was not locked. You could put your personal items into a locker with a locked key provided. You have to pay for this key and you would get the money back when you check out for your stay.

Noisy hostel
The idea of having 'single and double bed pods' is great - But in reality it just doesn't work at Meadows Hostel. We were kept awake until after 2am every. single. night by people talking at full volume. Then, we were woken up at 5/6am EVERY morning by other people who have no manners or consideration for other guests. The curtains on the beds are so thin they are totally pointless. The toilets & showers are FILTHY! We didn't even bother to get free breakfast (which is outside & looks very dirty). The only, ONLY positive thing I can say about this hostel is that the woman who works on night duty is really nice & will ask people to be quiet which we appreciated. The woman who checked us in & works during the day was very rude & abrupt upon check in. Overall, a terrible - We really regretted choosing this hostel... There are so many better options in beautiful Singapore. This hostel needs a lot of work!

Arrived and found a long stair up to the hostel with no elevator. Most times service desks ignore people coming to the desk as they have headphones on.breakfast given is outside the aircon room mainly bread butter. Showers need to bring your own shampoo etc. Towels and blankets require cash deposit. Showers doors mouldy and slippery. Room size ok and comfortable.

Clean and close to MRT and restaurants
We stayed for 2 nights. The place is very clean and has enough facilities. MRT is about 10 min walk with so many restaurants, food court and shops around the area. Would be better if staff are a bit more helpful.

Little gem Meadows
I stayed here for 5 nights in March 2018. It was a great capsule hostel. The hotel was just a 5 minute walk from Lavender MRT. It was a very clean hostel, great showers and washing area. Breakfast was toast, jam, boiled eggs etc. The wifi was strong and never cut out. There was a common room area on 2nd floor. The capsule format made it private and less noise than normal hostel. Highly recommended.
