We use to stay before Covid at the ONE FARRER on several occasions, for up to more than 3 Weeks. This time we booked 12 Nights at the Loft. Check-in and check-out was speedy and good, as always.The replacement of the Restaurant and Bar next to the Lobby was a small disapointment to us. The Loft was always well cleaned by Arul. However the Quality of the Towels and Bathrobes leaves much to be disired. Haevily used and frayed. Definitely not 5* standard, not even 4*
Now to the Highlight of the Hotel, which is the main reason for our stay. The beautifull, long and warm Pool for the daily Morning-Workout. Unfortunatly this is now a very poor maintained Area. During our previous visites it was always very well looked after. Now, a orange Plastic Bottle lays for 8 DAYS under the right outside Shower. A small white Towel lays for 5DAYS next to the pool on the floor. Quite a few tiles are wobbly. Paper Tissues and Glases laying around for Days on the Deckchairs, together with fallen Leafes. Inside the Pool, at the deep end, laying rotting BLACK leafes and branches. ( black means that they are there for many days) The whole Poolarea looks very untidy and dirty. Towelquality is also poor, overused. We dont know yet, if we are going to patronise the Hotel again in future !
