Stay was average. Hotel was in a good location. Staff were nice. Room was old and tired. Badly in need of updating. Bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Layout of the 2 bedroom suite was unusual

Location is very good. Property amenities are good, on site restaurant and bar are really good. Staff are very friendly. Unfortunately the rooms for what you pay are below standard and need to be upgraded, the potential is there for sure.

The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. We were given an early check-in which was so great. We were able to get into our room early and then do some shopping before dinner which was very helpful. The grandkids loved the pool. They said it was nice and warm. We were also given a later check-out which was very helpful as well. Will definitely stay there again.

Going down a star...
Always stay at the Sutton Place when visiting Vancouver, which is often. However, this trip the room showed small signs of wear and tear. Once again the heater didn't work, but it was fixed. Bathroom amenities very sparse (no cotton balls, qtips, soap and no magnifying mirror). Kitchen was clean, but no paper towels. While these seem minor, it's sometimes in the details. Checking out. Was told I would receive a itemized bill emailed, never received. Overall it's still a nice hotel, good location and pleasant staff.

Staff friendly and efficient. On site restaurant very good with excellent service. Call out to Ryan at front desk who fixed a room problem rapidly with as little inconvenience to our British relatives and ourselves. Thanks Ryan. Stay was great - many dining options in area. The check in was a mess. We were given a wrong room when we checked in. We had to get it switched but the charges were never corrected during the switch. We ended up paying the wrong amount (Higher than quoted by Hotels.com).

It’s been my fourth stay at this property. Three at the Sutton place Hotel and first time at the Residence. I added a day for my stay as my flight comes in early had called and arranged with the guest service. I arrive at 7am and check in was a breeze. About 11 am I get a call from someone at the front desk telling me he booked me in a different room and that I have two bookings. I said yes I had two bookings but had an arrangement and I only went to the room assigned to me when I arrived. I don’t know what he was upset about so I said so what do you want me to do why don’t you talk to your colleagues there because I already arranged this stay with someone. I paid an extra $800 for an extra night’s stay so I could just rest when I get there. The kitchen sink was leaking and I reported it the next day after I used it and water was lover the place. The lady at the front desk said he will let the engineer know. But no one looked after it even after we checked out, wasn’t even told when it was going to be fixed or offered me and my guests a different room. So we couldn’t use the sink. I was just disappointed with the stay this time. It’s always been such a breeze and everything was excellent even the staff before was wonderful. I’m not sure what’s happening.
