Hotels in Wazuka-cho
Do you need a hotel in Wazuka-cho? Unfortunately, they're as scarce as the hair on your great uncle Frank's head. But you'll have plenty of choice if you travel a little further out. Take your pick of 411 various types of accommodation within 30 kilometres of Wazuka-cho's downtown area.
If you're not bothered by a commute, the Hiiragiya Ryokan and the Ryokan Yoshida-sanso are two excellent options to consider. You should also consider taking a look at the Tsukihitei Ryokan and the Ishibekoji Ryugin.
Nara is a great neighbourhood to crash if you're not phased travelling 14 kilometres to reach all the main streets. It boasts 35 available hotel options, including the Hotel New Wakasa and Nara Hakushikaso.
You might also like to check out the Traditional Kyoto Inn serving Kyoto cuisine IZUYASU or the Seikoro Ryokan. The Traditional Kyoto Inn serving Kyoto cuisine IZUYASU is 25 kilometres away from the centre of Wazuka-cho, and the Seikoro Ryokan is 25 kilometres away. We'd also recommend the Ryotei Rangetsu and the Kyoto Arashiyama Onsen Ryokan Hanaikada. The first is 30 kilometres from downtown, while the latter is 30 kilometres away.
Kusatsu is another place where you can lay back and make friends with the room service menu. Sitting 25 kilometres north of Wazuka-cho, it's where you'll find the Shiga-kenritsu Omi Fuji Karyoku Park and Ameyama Cultural Sports Park. If you'd like to spend a few nights in Kusatsu, look into the rates at the Royal Oak Hotel Spa & Gardens and Urban Hotel Kusatsu. Or, you could consider staying in Nabari, 30 kilometres to the southeast of Wazuka-cho, where you can choose from the Hotel Route-Inn Nabari and Shorenji Lake Hotel. The Sukodo Former School and the Danjiri Museum are up there with the most popular sites to check out when visiting Nabari.
Otsu can be found 30 kilometres away from Wazuka-cho and has a population of 300,000. When you're in the area, you'd be nuts if you didn't visit Pieri Moriyama Mall, the Sagawa Art Museum and the Mizunomori Water Botanical Garden. Why not also see what's going on at Lake Biwa Bridge and the Lake Biwa Museum? There's an awesome selection of hotels and lodgings in Otsu, with the Biwako Ryokusuitei and Biwako Hotel at the top of our list.
Just landed at Itami Airport? Feeling gross after the flight? No worries. Shampoo and soap are available nearby at the Fine Garden Toyonaka Osaka Interntl Airport - Adults Only. If you can't get a room there, suss out the Reftel Osaka Airport Hotel. It's also close to the airport, which sits 40 kilometres from the centre of town.
