Far better than i expected, could not fault it apart from the parking charge of 10 pounds for a motorbike. Staff pleasant and helpful, place was spotless and plenty of pubs etc in the area, i will use as my place to stay when in aberdeen

Badly needs upgrading
Large room sparsely furnished, no headboard on bed, tv hung at odd angle for viewing from bed. Awakened multiple times by boy racers and noisy yobs. Lift out of order so a struggle upstairs with luggage and no offer of help. Picked for location close to train station due to travel connection but wasn't cheapest hotel and certainly not a restful night. This hotel badly needs upgrading with sound proofing and decor. Is definitely on my won't return list.

GRAND OLD LADY
This hotel is a grand 'Old lady'. Constantly undergoing some.manner of refurb in certain areas. Public areas all super inc. Restaurant and bar. Staff all lovely. Always willing to go that 'extra mile' for customers. Fantastic value 'High Tea". Overall everything fab value for monies paid.

Great place that took excellent care of us, was right beside the train station and mall, and not a far walk away from anything. The seagulls outside our room were loud but the hotel provided ear plugs if we wanted.

On arrival the member of staff on reception had her dinner down front of her uniform it looked horrendous, we were told the lift was broken and we were given room 102 when we got up stairs their was a bad smell coming from carpet we went through a door and in that hall way the smell was very very strong which was breath catching ,we got into room the carpets were very badly stained, furniture was in very poor condition marks and ripped, floor was very uneven right way through room and into bedroom , no view very dirty window, all in all not what was advertised at all I would say one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in very very poor, the only positive thing I can say is reception area and dinning area was nice.

I did not like the fact that the room did not have air conditioning. There were three of us in the room and it was warm. The Wi-Fi was awful. We had to go down to the lobby if we wanted to use the internet. Other than these two factors the service was very good.

Got a room on the 4th floor. Lift only goes to 3rd floor and you have to walk the rest. Not so good if you have mobility issues! My room was overlooking the roof and was full of seagulls that sqwacked all day and all night. Had absolutely no sleep. So all in all, not a great stay. Will not be staying here again!

This hotel is in a convenient area for the train and bus stations so good for exploring the entirety of Aberdeenshire if you don’t have a car. The hotel itself was a little run down but serviceable and the staff was very nice!

NOT at all as advertised. We were originally in room 228. The room was in disrepair on a hallway that smelled heavy of cigarette smoke with ripped wallpaper. One of the beds appeared to have vomit or something at the bottom. The bathroom was NOTHING NEAR what was pictured. There were 4 holes under the mirror where a shelf should have been, so all of our toiletries had to sit of the floor. The glass shower side was not attached to the tub and was missing the rubber seal so water just poured out of the shower down the glass with a 1" open gap at the bottom. The floor would pool with standing water so it took large towels to soak it up. My husband complained to the front desk about the room as well as the flooding shower and they just handed him additional towels to put on the floor. After traveling 24 hours our daughter just needed to sleep so we toughed it out in the room for the night. The next morning when our daughter almost slipped falling out of the shower due to no grab bars and flooding on the bathroom floor, we insisted on changing rooms. They said they would put us in a renovated room by the end of the day and our belongings were moved to room 321. That night, we returned and went to the new room 321. The toilet WAS NOT WORKING, WOULD NOT FLUSH, mirror was broken, handles were missing on drawers, chairs were ripped and we had to keep the window open w cups. We were told maintenance were gone for the night at 6 pm and they never sent anyone to fix the toilet.
