This place was recently renovated, but still needs a bit of help. When I checked in I was quoted $10 more than my reservation was set at. I had to show him my reservation and go through a long process of showing him the true price I booked the room at. My host did adjust the price, but he told me that the computers put all rates up due to summer pricing. If I hadn't reviewed my reservation, I would have unknowingly paid more money. I also paid an additional $10 more for a family suite thinking we would get two separate rooms for each bed like the photos showed online, but it was just a regular room with a kitchenette. If I would have known this, I would have just have booked a basic room. Rooms had newer furniture, but the beds were hard and the floors felt dirty when I took my shoes off at the entry. There was only tiny bar soap given in the bathroom and no shampoo/conditioner that you get in most motels. The bathroom door has dangerous nails on the floor jam and I caught my foot on them twice. I found a small spider in my bed and a bedbug in my mother's bed. No vending machine, no pool, no ice unless you inquire about it and then you get just a small amount in a tiny Ziploc bag and then told that you should have had a bag to receive it. The room has a small slope to get in and out to the parking lot which is definitely a tripping zone if a person is not paying attention. We also saw people smoking on the balconies and was surprised by this. I wouldn't stay here again.
