When I arrived I was told I didn’t have a reservation. I was able to provide my reservation information. The gentleman who helped me find my reservation was very kind even gave me a voucher for two free drinks. However, the girl I initially spoke to - I’ll refer to her as miss Shiny Forehead - was dismissive and offered no help.

First like the fact that housekeeping knocked on our door at 08.30 am when we had only arrived at 03.00 am and checkout was 11.00. Not brightly lit at night and as I have mobility issues was not easy to get around the footpaths . Reception staff were nice and helpful at checkout👍

I didn’t like this property. The beds are cheap. It definitely needs a revamp. It is so incredibly overpriced. The kitchen/restaurant/bar/housekeeping staff are lovely. I hardly slept here and I was on the top floor. There are better options.

If you are flying into or out of Edinburgh airport and need a room nearby, this is your place! You can easily walk to the airport from this hotel, but they also offer shuttle bus service. It's also easy to walk to the hotel from the rental car return area - which is what we did. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly, professional and helpful and they give you fresh WARM cookies upon arrival! There isn't much else around the area besides the airport and other hotels, but we were staying there the night before our flight home, so it was perfect for us. Plus, it was a short drive from Edinburgh, so it was convenient in that way. We had dinner and breakfast in their restaurant. My husband loved his fish & chips (said it was the second best he had while we were in the UK and he ate that almost every day, so that's pretty impressive!). I didn't love my burger, but I'm picky about meat, so don't put too much stock in my opinion on that. It was a bit annoying that they wouldn't serve the sandwiches on their menu after 4:00 p.m., but that's a minor thing. Their breakfast buffet was fantastic! Better than most we had during our trip. I guess I wouldn't book this as a place to stay if sightseeing, but for airport access - it's perfect!

About an 8 minute walk from the airport. You can see the property from the parking lot. Bus stop to get you to downtown Edinburgh across the street. Amazingly quiet for its location. Restaurant was normal hotel quality. Perfect for our travel plans.

We waited an extra hour before being checked in, we were told someone would come and get us but we still had to go to reception to ask. They apologised but it seemed as though this was their norm. I’ve never had to wait before.

Great spot near the airport and rental car drop off. The restaurant is actually not bad as well, and the pool area is awesome! I would say my only dislike is the shower heads basically mist on you and that's not what your looking for after long travels.

In spite of being right next to the airport, this hotel is surprisingly quiet. It’s also very clean and cheerful, I would definitely stay there again.
