Nice enough, the room wasn't as nice as the pictures made out but the lobby and the service was great. It's a good hotel, just not as fancy as I had expected. Street parking was possible right outside for a fee, and central Edinburgh was walkable

Lovely hotel but disappointing bathroom facilities
We loved everything about the hotel and our room apart from a faulty shower which was not repaired despite making a complaint. We had no choice but to have baths throughout our 3 day stay which was time consuming and inconvenient. We reported our issue and was told it had been dealt with. Even though the temperature tap was on cold (blue) only scalding hot water would come out through a half blocked hose. Also the bath enamel was scratched off around the plug hole which wasn’t pleasant either.

Special mention to all the staff. We had to bring our Dog, last minute, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Incredibly friendly and helpful, they are all a credit. Wonderful hotel

We stayed in a standard double room and in spite of being below pavement level it was spacious. Very comfortable bed although could have done with a slightly bigger one as only a double. Friendly staff and nice bar area. Expresso machine in our room as well as bathrobes which was a nice touch.

The hotel is in a great location for the city centre shops and pubs and restaurants etc. it’s clean and tidy and the staff are brilliant. I couldn’t fault the hotel for the money we paid to stay.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Our room was beautiful, although the extra sofabed was very uncomfortable. We ended up with 3 in a bed! Which was not ideal. Otherwise lovely room. Breakfast should have been better, overcooked food especially the eggs.

Great place to stay
It was great experience, the staff were very helpful and helped us celebrate our anniversary in style. The location is fantastic if you want to explore Edinburgh as it's near trams and bus stops. The hotel is also very quiet as it is off the main road. Street parking can be difficult so it would be better to arrive via public transport

We had a lovely stay in the premium King room. The location was the perfect distance for us to walk about and see the city. We had a brief safety concern when first arriving at our room, which was quickly resolved by the staff who were very understanding and kind.
