It was very nice and quiet and was just next door to the attractions like the flower nursery and car museum. The parking was just in front of the room which was great. The host was very helpful. We stopped here on the way from Canberra to the Great Ocean road so it was a bit out of the highway and took about an hour to get back onto the highway. That was the only downside.

This is another typical Country Motel that desperately needs an update. I cannot speak for all rooms, but room 9 could do with some new chairs and definately new carpet. There were also some pretty nasty water marks/mould on the bathroom walls that could do with a treatment and a repaint. The toilet also had issues with refilling. The pool itself was ok, albeit lots of debris in the bottom, but the surrounding area was littered with junk and was just generally not very appealing. The Spa had no water in it.There was also broken glass in this area and it just didn't appear to have been regularly maintained. I wouldn't want to take children into this space. I could not recommend this Motel. We only chose it for proximity to a function we were attending. I would not stay again.

The only thing that was nice was the view of the lake from the back of the unit. Booked a Queen room with kitchenette. Very untidy property & reception area. The microwave was dirty and very rusty inside. The smoke alarm had been taken off ceiling and was in the drawer. The material covering on mattress was missing just foam and a few scraps of original material. Shower over spa bath was slippery & dangerous. 2 mugs, 1 plate & 1 knife for 2 people! Walls were dirty. Wouldn't recommend this place. Photo's taken.

The room was dirty l lifted up the pillows on the couch and there was a lot of rubbish under them the shower door was nearly falling off l ended up leaving the motel and had to sleep in my car until daylight l would not recommend this place to anyone

The room was very basic but cheap. Shower was adequate not great. Bedding had stains on bedspread and sheet. Wifi was terrible, very slow with constant drop outs. Had to download Expedia to my phone and use mobile data to search for a better room. Staff seemed completely uninterested in anything. Never again.
