The hotel and its employees were wonderful. Great atmosphere. Food in the lounge/restaurant was very good. The room was spotless and comfortable... maybe a wee bit small.

Such a cool historical landmark with all kinds of amenities. Very unique and decadent. Old school classy place for an affordable price. Staff was very informative and kind. We will be back!

Clean, convenient located, amazing restaurant/pub with outdoor area.. great coffe shop next door with best later.. safe neighbourhood, near Paramount Studios and walkable to Melrose Av and Hollywood Blvd. Very nice lady at the front desk. Will stay there again.

Hotel rooms need updates, no ventilation in the bathroom which makes room smell funky. Neighbors look a little bit sketchy. Won’t come back if I visit LA again.

Classy place
A very classy place. I would stay here again. There are very large b&w photos of old time movie stars on each floor in the hallways. This hotel has been here a very long time. Two things to be aware. No coffee maker or microwave in the room. There is a microwave off the lobby outside in the back of the hotel.

Front desk Michael and Betty were outstanding and really made our first trip to Los Angeles better than they would have been otherwise. Hotel is comfortable and historic. If you’re desiring the best and latest accomodations, this will disappoint. If you want a safe, comfortable, convenient location to tour LA with some great front desk staff, you will be pleased.

Very nice Historic Hotel. The only thing that could be better is if breakfast was made available. Also, the Bakery signs advertise that they are open until 7pm, but in actuality they close at 5pm. Diner was great. Room was great. WE loved the historic film pictures on each hallway. This add's a great touch.

The hotel is looking a bit tired and strangely no complimentary tea or coffer in rooms the staff were excellent we educated the house DJ into planning decent music in the bar which wasok and the food was fine all in all its fine and it is an historic hotel
