I will always stay here when in LA, it is a wonderful hotel and the staff is great. I was a little bummed that breakfast closed early the day I went down before leaving due to something going on in the afternoon, if i would have been made aware of this I wohld have gone earlier but its ok, I will always choose to stay here! Thanks E-Central for always making my stay enjoyable, your staff is amazing!

Rooms on the street side were very loud all hours of the night. Music from across the street until 1am. Heard police sirens 5 times in the night over 2 night stay. Walked the downtown area nearby, dirty and many homeless asking for cash. The room itself was clean and nice. Breakfast was terrible in the restaurant. Pre-made food that was not fresh. Crime scene nearby in day time where 10 police on scene with crime scene tape. Liked the LA live area, restaurants nice in there and location was good for the venues in LA live.

Good place to stay!
Really quick check in, no issues with check out either! The room was large, had a view of the street but it was quiet so didn’t notice traffic noise etc! The air con was quite loud but it was ok. The hotel is central and easy walking distance to Crypto (Staples) Centre, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets! Can’t complain and would stay again if in Downtown LA!

Property overall was great and very convenient for basketball games being so close to Crypto. Surrounding area had junkies wigging out on the sidewalk and going to the toilet for all to see. Would not recommend for families with young children if that kinda thing bothers you.

I stayed here while at a conference at the expensive JW Marriott LA Live. E Central is very close by. It was clean and perfectly adequate. Outside and inside it’s quite dark and didn’t feel inviting. May be my personal taste but I prefer to setting brighter and more welcoming.
