I got tricked by either Expedia or Holiday Inn into a "non-refundable" rate, which was the only rate offered to me at this hotel. When I became ill and couldn't travel, I had to eat a $400 hotel room with no other options, because in 2024, everyone is out to get you and you need to be a lawyer to survive.
