The room had an awkward set up for our group. The twin bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on, the king was comfortable enough. The door to the room was smaller than standard and difficult to get the luggage trolley through. The housekeeping could have been done better, there was a stain on the twin comforter, the fridge had been defrosted but not wiped out, there was a bar of soap in the toilet when we got there, no kitchenette cleaning supplies, only one robe in the room, the table by the couch had spots on it from previous people. Oh, and the central air in the room ran all night long and was noisier than it should have been and was right overtop of the king bed. Overall, we would not stay again, especially for such a steep price of over $300 for one night.

Difficult to locate the room. There are no garbage cans available for disposing of trash. None by elevators, none in hallways, and none in the lobby. The only garbage I could find was located outside the entrance door.

This property says it was a four star, but it felt like a 2.5 star instead, room was moldy and smells. Carpet was super worn out and fixtures in the room and bathroom was broken. Faucet in bathroom was broken and faucet in the sink was either extremely cold or hot you could not get a temperature in between. Would not stay here or recommend this property again.

Did not use the pool. The room was not big enough for all the luggage’s. The staff were very good. The front desk staff were awesome!!! Lobby and room was clean. Here are some suggestions to help with improvement. 1- The beds were not super comfortable 2- The room needs more outlets for plugins 3- The room was getting cleaned daily, but the coffee, cups, shampoo and conditioner and soaps were not replenished 4- No smart TV in the room 5- not enough lights in the bathroom, the small magnifying mirror was not working at all. It could not stand still, unless you hold it with one hand so it was useless.

No charging stations for EVs. Patron parking was inconvenient. All parking close to lobby reserved for restaurant/gym. No handicap parking. Horel is a maze of corridors due to add-ons. I'm handicapped and cannot walk great distances, and we were put farthest away from loɓby. Approximately 750+ metres.

I regret booking the Sandman Hotel in Vancouver. The moment I entered my room, there was a strong, unpleasant odor a mix of mustiness and harsh cleaning chemicals. The carpets and bathroom looked dirty and worn out, and the overall cleanliness was far below what I expected. Even the hallways had a bad smell and felt poorly maintained. For the price, this hotel is not worth it. It feels old, unclean, and uncomfortable. I won’t be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and pleasant place in Vancouver.
