Good and clean. Had a penthouse room. Shower handle was broken. Got it to work after a lot of fiddling. Spacious and stocked well. Would be nice if movies were offered for a price, or easy smart phone mirroring or syncing for laptops. Could also use room service menu, not sure if room service was actually an option. Also a pamphlet of hotel amenities could have been nice.

We waited 40 minutes for the shuttle service 9/18 from 2.55am even though I requested this service with the time I needed it from the night before. So the shuttle wasnt reliable which raised my anxiety.

Upgrade we selected not available on arrival. The hotel is drab looking, horrible colours, stinky carpets, dim hallways. As another guest said to me, " we feel like we're in The Shining". Way overpriced for what you get. Bed comfortable. Staff just ok. Didn't dare eat in overpriced restaurant. Room ha s microwave but no plates. Has a lousy coffee machine and no mugs. 1 bathrobe for 2 people. Gym is good but not attached to hotel. Can't lock anything up without purchasing a lock.

Great hotel, great staff, great room. For some weird reason there was no alarm clock in the room though, which one would think would be standard in a hotel full of people rushing to make early morning flights. Minor detail though, and overall it's a great hotel.

The Sandman Signature is my go to hotel when I am visiting Richmond. It has an amazing on-site restaurant. Great shuttle service to and from the airport. All in all a convenient and economical choice

Stayed at this property for 6 days. The staff were friendly however, the hotel is tired and in need of updating. The rooms were average and the furniture is aged out (desk chair falling apart, bed was average etc). The room was noisy, air handling system was rumbling and made strange noises when shutting off. The free parking was a perk and there were a couple of breakfast restaurants conveniently located next to or near the hotel. Also the lobby bar and restaurant were very good. The location was not ideal for travelling to downtown Vancouver as the traffic was often heavy taking us more than an hour to get to our downtown destinations. Overall this hotel does not meet the 4 star rating on Expedia. A 3 star rating is more appropriate for this property.
