Rooms are delightful! Room service/front desk is HORRENDOUS when it comes to ordering food. Ordered food at the front desk, was told it would be 20 min. 53 minutes later (and the first phone call down to the front desk curious as to why it was taking so long) arrives only but only half there. The following 22 minutes is spent calling front desk back 3 times (after they say they will call back up shortly) and them not understanding what the issue is with the missed “sides” of the meal. It’s been 45 min of just waiting since the initial call (with no calls from the front desk as to what is happening or what can be expected) and now the morning plans have been undone because of this ridiculous wait and back and forth with the front desk. After many disappointing phone calls the manager of something spoke to me and seemed to be the only person who knew how to properly communicate with another human at this hotel. He was very helpful and transparent in what had happened and ensured the situation was rectified. Unfortunately this coukd have been avoided if the front desk properly communicated to their own team as well. It shouldn't take hours to solve what could have been a simple problem. All that was wanted was the food that was initially paid for and communication. Both of what was never given. This all could have been avoided with some understanding and communication from the front desk!
