The hotel was nice and our room was great. It was in a good location for walking to anything and found it very convenient. Unfortunately our flight was cancelled the day we were set to arrive, and upon calling the hotel they were not able to tell me if I would be charged for the room that night. When we arrived the next day, they said I would have to come back at 4:00 to talk to the manager. When I came back they said I would need to come back again the next day to talk to a different manager about whether they would charge me for the night I missed. It felt like they were just shoving me off to someone else to deal with. I was informed that the “hotel would suffer because they were not able to rent the room out to a different guest” the day that my flight was cancelled. I didn’t appreciate the sentiment as I gave them lots of heads up that our flight was cancelled, and I, as the customer, am at a much greater disadvantage because I am now out the cost of the room. Also, we were not able to immediately check in to our room which makes me think they did in fact rent the room out and we had to wait for them to clean it They also blamed Expedia for the fact that they couldn’t reimburse me, which I do not find a credible reason. Overall, I found the manager I talked to as rude, but the stay itself was good, as long as you do not get a flight cancelled I would recommend!
