It was overall a good stay. however, i had some change in plan and needed to check out two days early. I asked the front desk if I can get a refund for the two days as I have also given them three days of advance notice. I was told I wont get a refund because it's not a personal emergency but a work emrgency; and also because I booked through Expedia. Front desk asked me to call Expedia..So I reached out to expedia, and they put me on hold to call the hotel. Then Expedia let me know that hotel refused to do a refund and it's only at the hotel's discretion. The front desk later called me in my room to say sorry and that she thinks even if I spoke to the manager, she would deny a refund. It was frustrating with this back and forth, and hotel saying expedia can help with refund, expedia says hotel can refund then hotels calls me to say even manager wont authorize it. So, anyways it was not a very customer friednly situation at that time for me. I paid over a $1000 for this stat and didnt want to get nothing back and check out. all this to day, if you think life might happen and you need to check out early for any reason, this is not the hotel to stay. The room was okay but had no views or any openenness about it..another builidng and windows just outside my window so had ro close the curtain all the time. felt very suffocated at times when I woke up at the middle of the night. But I think you can ask for a room with a city view etc.
