Great, vintage Hotel with great Staff.
Great stay, loved the ambiance and the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful which we appreciated. We loved that it was walking distance from everything we wanted to do. Such a bonus. Will be back - next time we’re in Victoria.

We had a lovely family weekend at James Bay Inn. The rooms are spacious and the staff is amazing. Only a 10 minute walk to government street. Our room was over the pub and the nouse carried but otherwise a great stay.

The James Bay Inn was a great. We stayed in one of their one bedroom suites.very clean quiet and accesible to the inner harbour on foot. I would highly recommend the James Bay Inn.

Nice spot, nice building, great location. Staff was very kind and helpful and just in general nice to talk with. Walking distance to stores and other sights. The pub was also excellent.

This was a very unique property, nothing like I've ever seen. Very friendly welcome, free parking and quiet accommodation. Great burger from the pub downstairs. Easy to walk to downtown. Recommend if you're looking for a quirky, unique experience.

James Bay Inn made my trip from Port Angeles via ferry to Victoria B.C. absolutely amazing. The restaurant was fun and the exchange rate was greatly in our favor and although I picked it due to its unique architecture and style it was a real bargain. Initially I was disappointed not to find USB-C outlets but I then remembered JBI was opened in 1911. Charming spot for a romantic getaway. Definitely will come back the staff was great and so were the other patrons. 10 minute walk to inner harbor.

Second time I’ve stayed here to visit family. Beautiful old inn in a charming residential neighborhood with quiet and comfortable suites walking distance to the ocean, Beacon Hill Park, and downtown. Great value, free parking, and a pub and restaurant on site.
