Red Lion is an older basic hotel. Convenient to Victoria airport and ferry terminal. Comfortable enough for a one night stay. Parking is free but very limited.

This is the second time in two weeks that we have stayed here. The first time, we stayed on the 3rd floor, and it was lovely; this time, we were on the second. When we went to sleep, a humming sound came through the floor. It eventually went away, but it did make it difficult to fall asleep initially. Other than that, it is good value for the money

The bathroom had a terrible smell, I was in bed and thought someone was burning incense, which was unpleasant. Then I realized the smell was coming from the bathroom, there was an overpowering gel odour remover. I had to keep the bathroom door closed and was leery about what the odour remover was covering up. I wouldn't stay there again.

Overall our room was nice. It was clean and had a kitchenette which we were very happy with. The big flaw was the air-conditioner . It was very old and parshilly broken . We needed to ask for a fan .

We suggest this structure. Clean, quiet in a green site. Not far to downtown. Bus stop at five minutes on Douglas street. Many opportunities to choice.
