We stayed for just one night before a flight out. Standard room, 2 people. Loved: had all the features of an American-style hotel. Large bed, A/C, big room, large shower with amenities. Elevator, key cards, dining and bar. Couldn't ask for anything else really. Dining seemed really popular, though we didn't eat there. No need for a shuttle to the airport--very short walk to the terminals and even a shorter walk to the train station. Issues: you do have to train or Taxi to get anywhere other than right there--there's truly nothing around. But you have the dining there, so you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't desire to do so. Manchester as a city was a huge bust, especially considering the cost to get to the city (especially compared to the cost of the Tube in London, this seemed so pricy).

Beautiful, lovely soft breads staff excellent the Hotel is a little expensive but you pay for what you get a stay here every time

Easy walking distance from terminal 2 and convenient for other places to eat and drink as they promote themselves.

Location, good parking facilities, quiet.

The hotel was really nice and the outdoor heated pool was a real treat even in March. We didnt have any treatments as we were only there to enjoy 1 evening child free but what we did see of the spa treatments and the facilities were very good. The location of the hotel was perfect and next to lots of good restaurants that were within 1 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Buxton in general. We will be back
