This was our second stay. Again friendly and helpful staff. Easy online check in. 7 minute walk to the Lyric Theatre. Free secure parking. Perfect for us.

Handy for an overnight stay in Brisbane
The staff were fantastic. Handy location. Had all the facilities we needed. The room was clean but dated. Could do with a fresh coat of paint. Appreciated the on site parking.
The air conditioner was old, clunky and noisy. The room could also do with new pillows and quilts.

Smart TV did not function well - after a while none of the remote buttons would work - in fact had to turn off at the wall. Telephone totally dead. Have reported to the management. Service was always friendly.
I have stayed here quite a few times over the years, and will again in a few months. The only disappointment this time was the towels, so small and thin, please invest in some new ones.

Property was tidy & clean however would recommend replacing silicone in the shower as mould is starting to develop underneath.
Bar fridges also need to be turned up, put room temperature water in the fridge on arrival & upon check out 2 days later water was still at room temperature.
The Hotel was in a great location - walk to QPAC AND RESTAURANTS WAS around 10 minutes. However, my sheets were dirty and I asked ti have them changed. This had not been done by the time we arrived back from a show which was too late.
Service was absolute garbage. I asked for a mattress cover twice. First time on the call and second time I went down myself to get it both the time they said it will be sent up in 15 minutes. I stayed for two days but not once did they provided me with the cover. I paid extra 140 dollars for two extra person but they did not provide any facilities for that extra money. The stay was absolutely ridiculous. I highly recommend NOT to stay here.
We had a one bedroom apartment . I would highly recommend a bin in kitchen area as well as bathroom for female clientele . The toilet roll holder was painful . Every time you used it the roll would come off and roll away it got to the point as we stayed for 4 nights just sitting on bench . The bath tub shower area wasn’t scrupulously clean it had some brown scum around the edges . The glass doors were not stable and somewhat a little dangerous as at one stage the glass door came off the rollers . Our mum was staying in one of the other rooms and she said the same thing . One other thing I would suggest is power points next to the bed for recharging as there was one under the tv and we had to buy an extension cords to charge iPad iPhones and Apple Watch . Our son sadly is in the PA and he is going into palliative care on Monday and we are so use to having phones near us as we get calls during the night . Obviously with power cords running to bedside tables there is a health and safety issue . The general cleanliness was fairly high except for bathroom shower area . Because we are neat people we didn’t need any room service we made our own bed except for when we left . The washing machine and dryer were convenient as we did not have to take dirty washing home back to Victoria . And the linen was crisp and clean just a couple of small things otherwise it would very good .
One star for cleanliness one star for free secure parking.
Asked for a wake up call ☎️……..didn’t happen, tv wasn’t tuned and the menu was locked, went to reception to inquire about the fault, result……..NOTHING.
They put us on the third floor right beside the William Jolly Bridge ( at balcony level) was awoken a few times and I am deaf! Look at the price I wasn’t expecting much and I got worse than ordinary re service I received NONE!😡

This property is in a great location and this was my second stay there for that reason. If you don’t mind walking, getting to the city and around Southbank is easy. Secure under cover car parking is included which is a great bonus. Unfortunately the place needs some updating but if you’re not fussy this does the job.

It’s in a good position. The price was reasonable for a hotel close to the city.
It was very noisy, garbage trucks right outside our window at about 6am. People or staff speaking loudly early in the morning in the corridor, no sound proofing at all.
Bed and bathroom clean but carpet not fully vacuumed or dusted. The room we had needs a facelift overall.
