Dark and dingy ground floor room
Very basic, quite small, our room was on the ground floor facing the car park and it was dark and dingy.
Property old run down service was great breakfast was great property needs upgrading beds and pillows bad quality only worth it if U want a room to sleep in
Hotel was comfortable in a good-sized room with great view of city, especially for the evening lights. Easy walk into city and South Bank cultural precinct.
The bed wasn't the best, seemed to be springy and you tended to roll into middle.
Staff were helpful & the location is very handy. Premises though is very much overdue for a refurbishment. Our room for example had a 1970’s bathroom feel with cracked sinks and shonky plumbing fittings & shower. The net curtains were brown instead of white and the carpet floors were worn & stained.
This was our second stay. Again friendly and helpful staff. Easy online check in. 7 minute walk to the Lyric Theatre. Free secure parking. Perfect for us.
