A wonderful experience from the warm welcome on late check-in to the great advice on the local area and its characters. Comfortable bed with pillow menu and all the facilities you need to enjoy a restful stay. Parking was easy in the council car park next door. The locals are on the questionable side but security and guest safety seems to be a priority.
Excellent overall experience.
The team at the front desk was the best I have seen for a while. Paul (sorry don't know his surname) stood out owing to his excellent communication and customer care skills. He should be treated as an asset to the organisation and asked to teach such skills at other venues too.
Room was good too but a little suggestion regarding sliding doors, not the best as they always cause a little noise and slide open while in the middle of you busy doing some really important stuff!!

The Holiday Inn was a lovely hotel and the staff were really helpful especially in assisting us changing our room due to the view of Westfields. Unfortunately we did feel unsafe once we were outside the hotel, especially in Westfields opposite the hotel.
Great parking, easy to get in and out. Not an area you would walk from place to place, but the carpark is safe. Restaurant in the hotel, which offers room service as well so no need to go out. Has a good gym too, new equipment and clean.
Staff were extremely helpful, and very accommodating when our needs changed to add an extra night in a different room type for my wife.
The area out the front is a bit rough, with the bus stop and the shopping complex attracting a few rough individuals who yelled obscenities at my wife as she crossed the road on the second night.
Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. The access to free parking is a big bonus when staying here. Most places expect to charge you $20 or more per night!
Meals were pretty standard and took around 45 minutes to come to our table … only having two tables in the restaurant is No Excuse for the delay, especially when you have 2 kids .. Second night we had Room Service and it took over an hour for our meals again to arrive. One more thing, please install Normal Smart TV’s with Netflix or Stan or Normal Commercials Tv, since the antenna wasn’t working .. and you need to have Chromecast … Apart from
that all was good !!
This hotel was clean but the heating and cooling was Not working properly the room got to hot and the air con didn’t work! Staff were rude and weren't friendly at all. Worst experience I’ve ever had.
