The design of all areas of the hotel is very calm and attractive in an understated manner just like advertised: it is a relief from the busy world out there. The health oriented food was great, service very friendly and responsive. The beds a touch firm to my liking and some room features looked and felt really nice, but were slightly impractical. The location between the Paddington station and Hyde Park is excellent. Overall, a great choice and better alternative to most of the other hotels in the area.
Overall, we had a good stay at Inhabits.
Pros: Restaurant on site(very good!!) comfortable bed, easy to walk to train/bus stations. It was quiet and very modern.
Cons: There is no luggage holding room. They offer the service, but leave your bags in the lobby out in the open. They also offer laundry, but there is no laundry room on site.
They use a third party and there is a fee.
Some things to note:
They charge your card for the firsts night stay before you even check in. They also do not contact you to tell you they will be doing this.
We read the reviews about others being put on the basement level so we specifically asked for an above level room. (As did many from what we overheard)
Good experience and we got a bigger room as we were there for 5 nights.
The room was clearly only meant for one person. We were told we had to wait for the "nice" room and ended up in the smallest room the hotel had. We had towels for one person, one robe, etc.
The floors are terribly uneven in the passageways and aren't carpeted so all foot traffic outside the room is very loud.
The area is quiet. Do not partake in the hotel cafe; it's overpriced.
False advertising and marketing!we arrived and got a room underground- a small blocked out window that you couldn’t open and no fan in the bathroom meant it was dark and stuffy. This is not what we booked and there is nothing on their site or other booking sites that says you might get a lower ground room. This should be made very clear. We asked for another room and weren’t able to give it to us on that night but a second night and that room was much better above ground with light and a window that opens so I thank the staff for moving us.
Overall the hotel is ok. It’s modern but rooms are small and not many amenities
Wasn’t great - sheets were dirty, with a sign in the room saying “we’ll change your sheets as often as you’d like”. Room was tiny, even by European standards. Only 2 outlets. Area is boring, though it’s close to Paddington Station. “Gym” was a treadmill, a bike, and some weights in a room the size of a closet.
The room was clean. The staff was kind and courteous. However, I booked a queen bed and when we got there, they said we booked a cozy room. The cozy room barely held a double bed and it was on a base 8 inches smaller than the mattress, very disappointed. I don’t know if it’s the Hotel listing on Hotels.com was in accurate Or what happened. Paid 80 extra dollars over another hotel to get a queen. That said the area had a multitude of inexpensive delicious restaurant.
Our stay at Inhabit Queens Garden was wonderful. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was very good. The rooms are small, but were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I would give 10/10 stars for this property.
I had an excellent stay at Inhabit. I was just there for one night, having landed from San Francisco and arrived early to see if i could leave my bag there until check in time, but I was pleasantly surprised that they could check me in straight away! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the whole vibe was chill, calm but luxurious. I had a small room which I knew and as I was traveling alone, it was fine. It was well designed given the space and very comfortable. It would have been too small for two people however and worth noting that there is no desk in this type of room so if you need to work, you'd have to go downstairs where there is a nice lobby & cafe with free wifi. It was in a lovely quiet area just 6 mins walk from Paddington. I would definitely stay here again.
