Very very bad service
The stay was awful, the service and everything is worthless. Like we can't even use room service and also the phone in the room wasn't working . If any emergency happened we can't even call anybody still we tried them on their phone number still they are not answering the call.
The experience we had here was incredibly underwhelming.
We checked into our room and the bathroom was flooded, so we attempted to call reception but there was no answer. Eventually, we were moved to another room after my partner went down to reception with a photo of the floor and we were offered food and drinks vouchers which we denied as it was 11pm and we were advised the hotel bar and room service closed 10:30pm.
During the night, the rooms are not soundproofed so any and all late night door slamming or activities in the corridor can be heard through the walls.
At one point we woke up and the room smelled of cigarette smoke as someone was smoking in a bathroom near us and it wafted through the air-conditioning. As my partner has asthma he struggled to breathe and sleep. We called reception and were told that they would check the rooms around us, but never heard if this was resolved. It clearly wasn't.
We switched on the air-conditioning to attempt to move the smell out of the room, but as the air-conditioning would not go below 19 degrees Celsius, we were still horrifically uncomfortable anyway and unable to sleep at all.
To top it all off, in the morning, we heard construction noises which we were also not made aware would be completed.
This was incredibly disappointing for the standards expected at Radisson.
The property has nice facilities.
What can be improved is the check in process, speed of service and ability to contact reception.
Over the phone was impossible to get to reception.
Overnight prior to US flight. Convenient for Heathrow, as a coeliac don’t rely on hotel restaurant though. Good transfer offer back to terminals though with a 5 min drive to T3. Good value for the convenience.
I always stay at this hotel when I'm traveling from Heathrow Airport. The hotel is close to Terminal 3 (British Airways) which makes it very convenient for me, but I notice how the friendliness of the staff is dwindling. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay for an over-nighter.
All good Usual Radisson standards so hreat. But for an airport hotel, transfets shambolic. Told initially every half hour but actually only once an hour. Pulled up at stop 10 mins early, didnt open doors, waited for a minute, by which time had picked up bags and moved to door. Bus pulles aeay, still 5 mins early. Not good at all. Staff didnt care, had to book a cab and wait for 15 mins.
I checked in online to secure my room as I know I would be later than normal. The hotel did not have my requested room and did not tell me about the issue and offered a cot as an alternative.
Upon arrival, it was pure chaos. There were long li es for check in. They were trying to use a self check in sustem rittled with issues. Nearly everyone tryi g to self check in had issues. Daya was not being taken correctly. It gave me a message that I did not have a booking. I had to have a staff member help me check in, i had a reservation bjt at 1500, my room was still not ready. The hotel was extremely busy, jist not enough staff to support this.
Whole waiting to check in, food was being vroight through the lobby, from the restaurant to the bar area, with no lids or covers. This food was being pushed between persons waiting in line for check in. Very disappointing seeing thos after all the safety measures made during Covid to go back 20 uears with food service.
