On arrival at the whiteleaf hotel we found it to be closed down and looking like a building site. The telephone number is invalid and hotels.com were no help at all. We had nowhere to stay and had to find a last minute hotel. We are still trying to get our money back and absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service aftercare.
The only good think about this hotel was location, close to tube station, shops and restaurants. With walking distance to Kensington Palace.
Rooms were below standards, Room and bathroom were dirty and all you could smell was bleach. In the fridge were damp and juice which must have been there for weeks!
Hotel is advertised with breakfast served, when we arrived it turned out that they do not serve breakfast since 6 months! That was the only reason why we picked this hotel. Overall very disappointing stay for the price we have payed. I do not recommend
if you looking for budget stay.. thats the place bt if you lookin for comfort..look for other hotel, overall cleanliness was ok..room was small with ensuite toilet.. shower was too small n sometime no hotwater.. not convenience if u bring lots of luggage coz no lift.. stairs all the way.. location was good, near 2 underground station, bayswater n queensway, restaurants open till late.

Great
Great location. Reception and breakfast staff very nice. Room was great. Only downfall is that we had no hot water for over 3 nights of our stay.
The place is filthy, broken shower, no hot water, dirty walls, ripped stair carpets and general disregard. Appalling place... do not book this hotel

Dirty room , poor check in-you need photo identification which I was not told about before. Breakfast was awful. I will stay with the bigger chains in future
The pictures here on the app where misleading. The room my wife and I stayed in was not in the best condition. The room was not shown in any pictures posted on the app.

I took a single room with shared barhroom. Room was ok, but toilets and shower in a diferent floor. Shower's condition, very poor, small, not clean. I would not recommend this hotel. Paid way too much for what it offers.
The room was supposed to be a superior room, unfortunately tje shower would only allow cold water to flow. After complaining about this 3 days in a row was told, they know theres a problem with the system but can't do anything about it. There was also no maid service, the bed was never made and the tea/coffee was never replenished. Very poor standard hotel.
Cheap but wouldnt recommend staying here. Dirty, tired, no hot water, collapsing bed, windows falling apart, mould in bathrooms, damp smell in corridors and room. Best avoided until refurbished.
The staff were friendly and helpful, but there was no lift so I could not carry my suitcase up to the third floor. Bayswater is a great location for food, drink and Kensington Gardens!

Convenient, nothing exceptional,
convenient room - however in the basement, not the same room I booked online (the other one looked more spacious and special), wifi interrupts a lot
Was ok just for the one night. Very shabby, curtains hanging off, room was scruffy. Were told that the door key card may not work as batteries on doors needed replacing and the maintenance guy had been called. We were lucky but there were others in the reception that couldn't get in their room!! Beds were extremely uncomfortable and pillows ere virtually non existant.

WhiteLeaf stop over.
Room was small but adequate for three adults. Bathroom and linen super-clean and fresh, no stains, mould etc. Bed linen clean and fresh. Beds a little hard and pillows thin and not enough. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and plenty. Mix of Continental/American/British. On check out we asked to leave our bags and they immediately said yes. We collected it at around 3pm with no issues. If you want a luxury 4/5 star hotel that you can lounge around in, watch TV and ignore the sights of London then don't stay here. Somewhere to sleep have breakfast and spend the days sightseeing then it is a good place. Nearest tube 3/4 minutes walk, Hyde Park several minutes walk and from there Museums, Albert Hall therefore very close and Central London a pleasant walk through the Park as is Buckingham Palace.
So much terribleness. It’s rundown. Plaster separated from the wall stimuli on the tables. Dirty bathrooms with tons of rust. And the shower didn’t drain. I had to actually stop the shower to avoid it over flowing.
When I checked out I sat in the lobby for about 45 minutes planning my day trip and heard 4 people complain about their rooms:
1- no light in the bathroom
2- dirty
3- the best (a literal hole in the ceiling next to the light fixture).
Free breakfast and it was scrambled eggs toast etc... not bad at all.

Hotel near Queensway
I object to the fact that although I paid by card in advance, the hotel insisted on photo ID which i had not been warned about and was in any case unnecessary, and then for my credit card details again. I was made to feel like a criminal.
The room was pokey and breakfast started too late for me to have any.
