Sea blue is close to the beach and to downtown Santa Monica and many restaurants, so it is convenient in that regard. There is parking on the premises at $29/night, which is the going rate in that area. There is coffee and tea available in the lobby, which we used in the morning. The property has a little patio with some tables, but we did not get to use them due to the heavy fog on the days when we there. The unit we had (#21) had two beds (to sleep 3 people) but only a single chair and no table. There was an area outside the bathroom that looks like it used to be a kitchen area, which had a safe, an ironing board, and a mini-fridge, as well as an area for clothes. One could leave some items there, but not sit. Luckily we did not spend too much time in our room, but when we did in the late afternoon before, or after dinner, it would have been nice not to just have the bed available to sit. Heating consisted of a little fan, since the gas heater that is on the wall is disconnected, but still has the thermostat on the wall. The front desk staff (4 different people during our stay were a mix of very friendly and helpful versus minimal conversation and information. One of the night people was very helpful - he called when there ere packages delivered that showed my first name (but no last name). Turned out they were not mine, but I appreciated that he went through the effort of finding the only person at the hotel with that first name on that date and then contacted me.

great location
walking distance to the beach, pier and shopping. nice spacious and clean rooms. microwave and coffee maker addition to the rooms would be nice.. they are in lobby, but one in the room would be super convenient. parking is separate at $29/day but worth it, given you can pretty much walk to everywhere else.

Comfy bed but you can literally hear every noise !
Bed was super comfy. Beach was right behind the hotel. Plenty of places to dine at. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Housekeeping in the morning are so freaking loud don’t expect to sleep in. In fact everyone is loud including the people staying at the hotel. If you’re a light sleeper, this hotel isn’t for you!

Loved: easy access to SM pier and beach, friendly staff, clean, quiet. Unique architecture esp. tiles, separate sitting area/bedroom. Nice views. Great stay and price for area Wish there was coffee maker in room and bedside reading lights but that’s ok!

Perfect location. Beach access down the block. All things walkable. Great customer service make it easy to check in. Cleanliness 5 star, just don’t forget to always wear sandals in the shower. No microwave in the room but they do provide in the lobby along with some snacks
