I didn’t get the townhouse that I had paid for… there were ANTS in the kitchen… the shower was really mouldy and a magnetic strip fell down and hit me in the face … which was also mouldy..we took our shoes off as we entered and within a couple of hours my husband noticed my feet were black from being barefoot on the filthy carpet… I had to wipe the dinning room table down before we could eat as it was still dirty from the people who stayed before us.. and some of the curtains wouldn’t close properly… I will say that the bed was comfortable and clean… this isn’t a 4star hotel… very disappointing for the price!

Great Location - Not so great on the inside
Such a shame - this hotel is in such a good location and the rooms are huge - but its filthy and poorly looked after. Black mould in the bathrooms Leaky taps that flood the floors Low quality bedsheets that are not soft and comfortable Crappy pillows No covering over the doona Kettle old and falling apart - likely a health risk Old crappy furniture Curtains falling off the rails Overall, ok for a cheap and quick stay, but its a pretty low quality hotel overall.

We were only in Melbourne for 4 days so were looking for reasonably price stay in Fitzroy. Would normally stay at a higher priced place but location was a factor also. So expectations were met for the most part. A couple of things noted: 1) We had booked a service apartment looking for cooking facilities and hadn't really looked at all the details so were a little surprised to find only a microwave oven and no cooker. We coped... 2) There was only 2 sachets of dishwasher liquid and it wasn't replenished. There was also no kitchen cloth or brush.. this kind of limited our ability to buy something to bring back to the apartment to eat.. again not a big deal and we coped (and if it was we would have asked at reception) but it should be checked by room staff. Having said that, we got what we needed, place is tidy and excellent value.. Thanks for the stay. Tony

The property is conveniently located, close to the CBD and the commercial streets in Fitzroy. The room was clean, but was a bit worn. The room was not expensive, so condition was anticipated the price. Self parking is $25 under the building.

The hotel was in a great spot, the staff were very helpful and the convenient onsite parking was great. However the room we stayed in was very dirty. The carpet was filthy, when we walked on it with bare feet our feet got dirty. There was dust and hair around the edges of the bathrooms and many surfaces of the shelves in the kitchen had grime and dust on them. The windowsills were also very dirty like they had not been wiped down in a very long time.
